These ladies ran some very difficult racks. And their breaking skills are awesome. It's hard to understand how this video got almost a hundred thumbs down. These people don't understand pool.
what a match, both great players and going to get better.. just watching on the computer 15th rack when Amber tried to slide the cue ball behind the 8 off the long rail to kick that 1 ball in I said you have to twist it or risk getting on the wrong side and scratching and sure enough... that was the turn right there, she never recovered.. this Pan girl is scary good and that stroke.. jeez good luck to both of you in future endeavors, practice makes perfect and don't shy away from practicing odd off the wall shots like that short angle long rail kick on the 1 ball you scratched on, if you spin the ball it comes off the rail deeper, reverse spin (left) and it comes off shallower, I would have used low right but right spin for sure... practice all that stuff and tuck the missed away in folder and visit them on practice day, aside form that you have to always look forward to stay loose relaxed and focused.. some mighty fine play tho

J Hops it's a new style of rack. It replaces the old rack triangle and it is suppose to be more precise and keep a tighter rack. The plastic is so thin it doesn't affect the balls that pass over them after the break

The thin plastic template contains small holes for the balls to fall into and toward the 9 ball, guaranteeing a perfect rack, without fail.
Standard 9 ball rules. On the shot immediately following the break, the player has the option to call "Push" and perform a "Push Out", hitting the cue ball to anywhere on the table surface. If a ball goes in, it stays in. If the 9 goes in, it gets spotted. If the cue ball goes in, it becomes ball in hand. After the push out, the opposing player can choose to shoot or pass the shot back to the original shooter. An ideal push out should make the opponent's decision difficult to shoot or pass the shot back. The reason that Push Out rule exists because balls are scattered too unpredictably after a break, sometimes making a first shot overwhelmingly difficult.
I believe they are using the rule that a legal break shot must be hard enough to have 3 balls come back past the headstrong area (or pocketed). The referee first announced illegal break but the shooter corrected him by showing that the ball near the headstrong went far enough.
