I loved the story, and yes, I think that is missing, but also want to see the inside, even if just a quick overview. Also, cool business idea, love the mental health aspect of it and hope she is successful at getting that off the ground.
I definitely agree with the live in your bus while you build it. I may not be on the road with my bus but I am living in it in my driveway. I think that makes it a much easier transition. I don't really plan to travel in it alot. But who knows the future. The idea that this will be my fully paid for home that the bank cannot ever forclose on. And that I will never have to pay an electric bill again. Is a huge driving force behind this adventure. After getting this far into the build. The idea of selling it and building another seems insanely daunting. Thanks for sharing.
Enjoying your new interviews very good keep it real hearing the good and bad that can come along. The only difference is they are following their dreams. 👍😊🙏
Excellent video Isaac! You are a natural at interviewing people about their stories! As some others have said, it would have been nice to see a tour of the bus. But maybe they weren't ready to put a video out there yet. Safe travels to Texas!
Thanks for sharing this interview Isaac, it's always good to hear about someone's experiences and journey, and can be helpful and inspiring as well. This young couple have a good attitude with how to take it one step and day at a time with their life's journey, just go and see where it takes you, whether a year, 5 yrs or more while even taking the time to continue the bus build until complete. I enjoy watching your videos Isaac and Jaylena's even since before you 2 gotten together and y'all come a long way and how everything has been working out as y'all take those days one at a time and even with child on the way. Everyone has their ups and downs, and nothing is easy, it's how we react and respond to any situation or whatever life might through at us. We just keep trying and not give up. And, can always move on with the next steps if the other doesn't work. Like when you got the bigger bus, the 1st one didn't work out liked you it would, but you actually found and gotten one that did. There's always a reason for something, good, bad, ugly, or indifferent. And, can come out good somehow when you least expect it. God bless you all in all your life's journey.🤗💖😊👍
i about died when I seen this, if your familiar with red white and bethune that dude is the spitting image of Kyle that he could be his brother or long lost child, another inspiring video
A lovely couple who really love their life as nomads..Great interview and filming of the outside..I wish we could have seen the inside..even if its just to get an idea of space.. Thanks for sharing ☘❤
Loving your new venture Isaac of bus life stories - very cool to hear the stories of peoples lives, their builds and how they ove into bus life - you’re great at whatever you do - all the best to you , Jaylena & Ember to come 🚍🚌💌
Thank you Isaac. We continue to learn throughout this life of ours. I'm travelling at warp speed now, towards the end of my life journey, but living my fulltime van life, I am still learning new things, almost every day. Your life story interviews and meetups are so great for both the younger and older generation. We all have knowledge that sometimes we just don't realise. Keep on keeping on, I say!! Take care there. Hoping your Texas adventure is, or was, a great time, meeting new family and celebrating little Embers imminent arrival. Very exciting times for you all and us, all over the globe, who watch in their own excitement, for what is to come, for your, Jaylena, Ember and let's not forget, Halo and BBs journey. NZ hugs.....🤗😊💕💕💕💕💕 🚐 🌏
Great interview! I love to hear the stories of why and how people get on the road in a bus. I tell my grandson to do it. I sent him Pics of your builds!! Lol! If I was 20 years younger wow would I do it!
Really enjoyed their journey to get where they are today! Awesome Interview Issac!! I thought the artwork on the bus was very pretty. Did either of them paint it?
This helps. Thanks. Would like some tips on how to strap down the storage bins, as soon as I put in the floor it's game on. I don't want to be watching my family being squished like bugs when bambi makes me hit those air brakes. Everything we need is in those bins, just have to build the storage units on the way. Then it's just put away and organize. Until then the hypothetical bambi in my path makes me fret about making things immobile. Any tips?
Great Idea. Let's create a bus life Town. We can vote on the Town's name , and literally create an Awesome, family safe Bus Community. I'm totally in. I'll trade Chicago city life for a more simpler and creative life. Also can u imagine bus, RV, Van people. We all have the same mentality and adventures personality, living in a small or big community. Bus Town, USA WOULD SO BE AMAZING. Idea's are flowing through my brain. Omgosh. Bus life friends, this is why we need our own little community. Much love from Chicago
Loved hearing Jules & Ian’s story, hearing about Halfpint & Halfpint,Jr. & how they overcome their challenges as bus folk on the road…From the beginning & currently. I worked All fields of nursing in my time, but psychiatric nursing was my fav & I worked it more years than anything else,so I can relate to her on that.AWESOME Interview Isaac!💙
Great story Isaac. Really loving your new gig. Story it is and so inspiring. Then disc golf courses, my kids grew up here in VT then NC and all 3 of my boys disc golf and love it too. 18yr old grandson has been right there with them since he was 4yrs old. It's in his blood now too 😆 I'll be that solo senior lol starting out in Vermont too. My next Chapter is what I'm called now as I plan it. Moved back to VT 7 yrs ago to stay with my mother so she can stay in her home at 87 yrs old now. It's all about teaching your children and not one of my 5 will put me in a nursing home.. Real nice to see East coasters doing it. Thanks You All for sharing... ✌ ❤
