I haven't been doing zentangle long enough to deconstruct easily, yet. But It will come. When I first starting doing paintings with acrylic paint, I needed lots of instruction on how to layer the paint, but eventually, I could just take a photo and know exactly how to go about making it work. It all comes with practice and familiarity. Thanks for all your work and sharing.
Barbara, thank you so much for doing this tutorial. I got the project pack 14 and followed all the ones I had tutorials on. But the ones they didn’t have tutorials on I didn’t know what to do with it so really appreciate this!
I enjoyed this tangle. New to all this but I have a stencil with all kinds of different sized hearts. I bought a spiral tone tan sketchpad 9"X 12" that I use. I just draw squares for the tile patterns, circles, hexagons, hearts, whatever I need to follow along. If some CZT's draw a string I do that too. Been having a blast! Thanks for all your videos and I think you do a magnificent job! Hugs from Montana!
You are so welcome! A tan sketchpad sounds great! I've done the same thing in some of my sketchbooks, adding squares, circles, etc. and it's fun to fill them with patterns. I'm glad you're enjoying so many videos from different teachers. Hugs back to you from Texas!
You are a real artist and teacher. I love your little book pack 14 already. Please never stop the teaching. You don't know what it means to me. Ik love all your little stories and talks. Have a lovely day.
Thank you so much, Beatrijs! I love reading your comments and I'm very happy that you enjoy my videos. I've been busy, but love to share when I find the time. I hope that you also have a lovely day. You helped my day start off very nicely.
Wow, thank you so much, Lori. What a wonderful thing to say. This is why I keep trying to find ideas for new videos. Comments like this make me very happy. I hope you have a wonderful week!
I've been enjoying your work for the past two weeks.....playing along with you....filling my scrap book....collecting patterns.(subscribed today. I apologize for waiting so long!) It's been an honour to zentangle with you. Your art work, your calm voice and your zen philosophy are greatly appreciated! This pattern is particularly special for me as I'm was searching for an appropriate design to draw on a 70th wedding anniversary card for my dear parents. I will certainly use this one! Thank-you for generously sharing your time, energy and talent!! -Angèle
Ronald, thank you so much for your kind comments. It always make me feel so awesome to read things like this. I'm so happy that you are enjoying my videos, and I hope that you will share a photo of the design for your parents anniversary. Wow - 70 years!
Your instructions are flawless...your work is beautiful... something for me to aspire to...thank you for your inspiration...i am so happy i found your channe❤️l❤ ❤
Looks great you gave me a nice idea for my tangle Toodle I think that’s the name it’s a very nice one from Heather hartwick Gladden she is fantastic to watch has are you.
Hi Sharon. I don't have a website for posting my work, other than using Facebook or Instagram. For Project Pack 14, this tangled heart from the video is the only thing that I posted. I didn't finish all of the pages in the book (bad habit of mine), but mostly I followed what was shown in the videos from Zentangle.
You can search on Google or Amazon and find several options for the disc binding system. I bought mine at Office Depot because I wanted to buy local. If it didn't work out for me, I thought it would be easier to return it. The only issue I've had so far is that I'm not sure if other types of discs will fit after using the Tul paper cutter. I bought 1 1/2" size Tul discs and didn't like them, so now I'm only using the 1' discs. If you find and use another brand, I'd be interested to know what you think about them. So far, I'm loving my discs for binding my tiles. I'm thinking about creating a video for it, but just havent' found the time yet.
@@notperfectzen I did order from Amazon a small hand held disc tool for the holes but it’s been hard to find the correct disc size But that’s what I wanted to do with my tiles to hold them together TFS-Rebecca in Victoria
