I look forward to it! Chickens can be finicky little things. Do you think the other two chickens will lay their egg somewhere else because of their dislike for the pad??
hi zo 🤗 maybe your hens just have to get used to a new item being in their nesting box. but you're right, if you don't get your normal count of eggs after a week, do what works. are there any budget DIY solutions that may work for the hens and your wallet? good to have a backup in case what you use becomes unavailable. tfs
Wow. Try to see if there’s a minimum that you can have for your property size. Ours is 10. So you can have 8 rabbits, 2 chickens - 3 rabbits, 7 chickens. Just can’t be more than 10. You can have a rooster unless it becomes a nuisance. If your neighbors are complaining about the crowing then it will have to go. 😂 I give my neighbors eggs so they don’t mind my 3 when they get a little rowdy
All hens produce eggs. Mines are very quiet. The most you hear them is in the morning when they are laying there eggs. Not loud enough that your neighbor gets upset 👍🏽
Ooh! New video! I was actually looking up nesting pads last night so this was great timing!! ❤❤❤
Not sure if my chickens will like them.
This is the first time in a very long time I only got one egg. I will do a update after a week or two

@@takaramitsumi7070 I’m thinking they might lay it on the roost. 😂 time will tell
Excellent 👍

I’m going to give them a little time to adjust. I believe they will come around. I might try using leaves or something organic
Maybe you could put shredded paper or hay/straw on top. It could save a little money and clean up time.
To my surprise. It’s been very clean by using those nesting pads. They seem to work great 👍🏽
My wife wants chickens because about 5 or 6 neighbors have them but the city ordinance doesn't allow them on our size property.
