- 51 contestants will by vying for the crown and title of Miss Teen USA 2014. The contestants will compete in swimsuit and evening gown and the Top 5 will have to answer the Final Question.
Hosted by Miss USA 2013, Erin Brady and Karl Schmid with special guest appearances from Miss Universe 2013, Gabriela Isler, Miss USA 2014, Nia Sanchez and the current Miss Teen USA, Cassidy Wolf.

its not all about looks when judging a beauty pageant you got to look at the all round person not just the looks a good personality can make a person more beautiful its about the quality of the person.
J o n a t h a n That's extremely true. In the pageants I've done, there have been some really pretty girls, but the ones that always do the best are the ones that are the most well-rounded. The people who do well in the interview that morning and on the on-stage question tend to do the best. If it were otherwise, I would never do another pageant again.

I m very disappointed that Miss Mississippi didnt win. I like her from the time she won her State title. She is one of the most gorgeous girl, confidence, sweet, friendly, and smart too. I hope she will compete for Miss USA in the future. I like Miss Pennsylvania too, because she look so young and fresh. She looks good with short hair. Miss South Carolina look a little bit older for her age. She is cute but she is not that gorgeous like Mississippi, Texas, Arizona, Tennessee, Michigan, Oklahoma, and West Virginia.
I believe South Carolina won because she is a well spoke person and seem smart. Maybe the judges didn't want another blond hair girl win again.
All the girls were very well spoken but I think K. Lee was perfect. I've known her for quite a while and she is beautiful girl inside and out. All the Miss Teen USA's look older for their age. I do agree that Miss Mississippi Teen was a very pretty girl but I think the judges made the right choice! :)
K. Lee is just as beautiful as all the other girls! She doesn't look old for her age in my opinion. Besides, this competition is based on a lot more than just looks. K. Lee will be an AMAZING Miss Teen USA!
Agree…Mississippi was stunning! I think Mississippi will do quite well at Miss USA…congrats to the winner. South Carolina ALWAYS sends beautiful women that are always well prepared. Excellent top two!

It's great to have Miss USA 2013 Erin Brady to be Co-Host at Miss Teen USA Pageant in Bahamas. Hope to have Miss USA 2011 Alyssa Campenella or Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo to be Co-Host next year.
Miss Teen New Jersey Valentina represented Venezuela in Miss Supranational 2021. She is 3rd runner up.
Two things: It´s very sad to see how low budget the Miss Teen USA has become. From being an internationally televised show with amazing productions (see the 1996 pageant to get an example) to this cheap one... and lastly: Mississippi should have won big time. MISSISSIPPI you need to compete at the Miss level, you´d win the Miss USA pageant easily, you´re gorgeous!!!!
Honey, sometimes they don't crown a contestant with miss usa potential since the new rule that miss teen usa winners are not allowed anymore to compete at a state pageant for miss usa.

South Carolina nailed that final question and was definitely deserving of her win. My only criticism would probably be the placing of Miss New Jersey. I thought she answered her question eloquently and she should have been first runner up. Oh well, good job to the all the girls!!!
Im in love with miss Penn. love her short hair, the winner is gorgeous! Love her! Im so sad that Miss Teen USA has become so low, what a cheap production, i remember those great peageants from 80's and 90's, , i wish Miss Teen, and Miss USA / Miss Universe bring back thoae spectacular productions.
I wanted Pennsylvania or Mississippi to win. South Carolina did look old for her age. I just can't believe she is 17. She looks more like a 30 year old to me.

Last year shortly before last year Cassidy Wolf was elected Miss Teen Usa 2013 and she was the most perfect of all and is blond descendant of Norwegians. Deserved win and never a contest was as fair as the #MTU2013 in my opinion. Now comes an idiot like you say the judges preferred the Brunettes? And Blondes, black, Asian (Because there's only one you have black blood Wasghington too), Redhead had no. Latina had blondes as: Texas, Brunettes like: California and Minnesota. Following my favorite Miss Teen Usa 2014: Alaska, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Maine, Mississippi, Pennsylvania, Texas and Utah are the most beautiful.

South Carolina had the best answer . I don’t think New Jersey deserved 4th runner up she should have placed higher just for her answer .
I personally think either Michigan or Mississippi should have won. In my opinion, South Carolina acted more like she expected and deserved it and didn't appreciate it. I'm sure she did but a big part of the "pageant experience" is the look on the winners face when she is crowned. She seemed more "duh I knew it was me, where's my crown". Was not impressed.

Wow did the whole state of Massachusetts show up for Miss MA? She was definitely the crowd favorite.
Is it me or does the Miss Teen USA pageant get cheaper looking every year? The production quality was terrible....you could barely hear the beginning of Cassidy's farewell speech and the fact that the host had to step off stage in order to get the final results from Tal (note the audience member sipping from his cup of whatever while this happens). You also see people sipping on drinks in the front row as well as people still trying to find their seats while the actual show was going on....what a mess! I have never seen this nonsense at a Miss USA or Miss Universe pageant....

YEAH, it's gotten pretty bad, makes you wonder where all the state entry fees are going because it sure isn't going to the production.
I understand. I'm in Miss California 2015 and its $1,750 for entry fee, $500 dollars for registration, and $80 for the opening dress. Not including paying for dresses and makeup and everything else.

I just hate some of the "modern day" changes, the current titleholders not in their banners & crowns like yesteryear, they basically just look like everyone else. I feel it's a privilege to win Miss USA & Miss Universe and to be special guests and not being able to wear the crown and banner to a major show, especially to a show where the new Miss Teen USA is being crowned, their new little sister, It's quite insulting in my opinion.

Also love love love Miss Alabama, Baskin Champion. Her name.. and she didn't win.. lol.. she's a popular working model now for Hollister etc. So she's not doing too shabby. You see her everywhere! I might not date her, but I think her southern accent and bubbly personality is just too cute.

All the girls are truly beautiful, but for me I think it´s wierd to hear that the winner is a "rolemodel" girls from all over the world. Why because I´m from Sweden and this show is not broadcast in Sweden, neither is any of the winners in our social media, magazines or on any of our posters.
If you in Sweden want to know about this competition, you have to look it up yourself.
Still I do belive the girls are beautiful and I do think it very nice of them showing normal high school girls on tv and not models.

This pageant gets worst every year. Its like there is no budget. It should be held in the US and not in another country. Donald Trump has ruined all of the pageants. Its now more like a fashion show trying to pick a model instead of a pageant winner. Waste of time.
