    Thoughts on Macan Turbos > looking to get out of a 2011 Cayenne S V8 (115K mi's) > purchased in 2016 from original owner with 67K > been looking at 2016/17 Macan Turbos....but been hearing things like ... aluminum engine bolts breaking off which Porsche knows about but of course slow to act re Recall...+ other issues that the Cayenne line has not experienced.
    May be best to stick with the Cayenne line....better quality...ya get what ya pay for.

      Agree, I have heard not great things about the first Macans. No idea from first hand experience though.

    My 2004 turbo has similar looking 22" (I believe) factory wheels.
    Re: fuel economy; lol; I'm lucky to get 13 mpg with cruise control on a smoot flat highway..

    Just asking your opinion, i am looking at a purchase between 2 cars a 2006 Turbo S with 208k miles and a 2008 S model with 118k miles price is the same and both have good documentation

      Hard to go off of just that info. Comes down to how it’s been maintained

      S for sure. 208k miles is insane. That things life is over and things will go bad right away and its big money to fix. Would be a total money pit. Always go with low miles if possible and one that has been maintained well

    I’m a lucky owner of a Metallic Marine Blue 955 Porsche Turbo S. They are for sure a value and most certainly will increase in value as people realize how bulletproof they are. Couple things is the higher up the cake you go (turbo S being the top) they strengthened the engine more and more so the Turbo S being the most rare as most bulletproof of the lineup. I was able to get 19s on mine with some 32” tires without a lift. Eurowise is nice, but unbelievably expensive tbh.

    Very cool Turbo S. Do you know what exact options that one was ordered with? Also how many Turbo S Cayenne were made in 2005 - 2010.

    • @husmanbros
      @husmanbros  Рік тому +2

      Around 1500 worldwide, about 600 of them made it to the US

      @@husmanbros thank you for that information. It’s a very rare vehicle considering that most were probably driven daily and as a S.U.V they are probably very few left. I didn’t even know that they had a model higher than the Turbo for the Cayenne early on.
      So that’s about 600 you think from when they started making them around 2005 955 or so until 2010 at the end of the 957. Or about 600 per year imported to the U.S ?
      Please more videos on that the Turbo S 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

      @@jasonknight5863 about 600 955. 957 are more common.
