On victorys channel they show you can heat this with a heat gun and comes out, do you know if thats true or you’ll have a much harder time getting it out if needed whether its a hit or a regular half out…i currently use the low temp hot melt you and MFJJ sells because i dont wanna have any issues with damaged carbon and wanna be flexible if i have to change components and not wanna shell out 250 plus for another dozen

ive ruined about as many arrows heating it to get it out as ive had successful, finding the right line is tough and sometimes the carbon burns before it lets go.

@Orr_s don't get me wrong this stuff is insanely tuff, unbelievable strong bond... I just haven't been able to get parts out consistently without ruining shafts. I put the field point in a vice and heat it slowly with a heat gun and pull like hell but by the time it let's go the arrow is trash about half the time. If you're looking for bomb proof adhesion there isn't anything better... But if you want removable I'd go hot melt.

@@tannervanasten kinda what i figured. Its a trade off. I run the low temp hot melt the Kimshaw branded stuff on 3rivers archery website. MFJJ at Podium archery and iron will bill sell the same stuff on their websites. Been using it for about 3.5 seasons. I hunt whitetails from sept 15th thru Jan 31st so the temps range from like 80+ sometimes, down to like 10 degrees this winter or single digits and less with wind chill in my state
