The bison icon actully represents any carcess. The colors represents if it is fresh or old. For example, if it is red, the carcess is fresh and safe to eat, but if the logo is green you will get posioning if you eat it.

Oh ok that makes sense :) for some reason I thought the red was a carnivore carcass since each time I walked up to one it was either a wolf or saber 💀
That color choice is confusing for Americans I’d think. Seeing as red is associated with bad and green good.
