Fibbing is much more accurate than lying. Interviewers were trying to spoil the movie for everyone, but Andrew was trying to preserve a fun secret. He did a great job throwing a surprise party for everybody!
@@KayDvn still he could joke about Feige with a riffle or "snitches end up in ditches" or whatever. Or he could simply say that that's what he had to do because of NDA. As soon as he said "I am not the werewolf." I immediately turned to my wife and said "Hes the werewolf..." And we both laughed. Love Andrew Garfield he certainly stole the show in my opinion. I say Sony uses him for Venom/Morbius Verse.
Andrew did what your friendly neighborhood spider-man should do; save the day. And he did that by not killing the suspense. For that, I love him and respect him even more than before.
I had zero knowledge of what the storyline was for No Way Home. My family and I finally saw a movie in a theater last month after 2 years. We went for Spider-Man because my daughter has asked to watch it since it came out in December. I’ve seen all the Spider-Man movies and Andrew has been my favorite, so when I saw him appear on the screen, followed by Tobey, I started clapping. I probably had the best time that afternoon! As you can imagine, I started to look in UA-cam and saw Andrew’s interviews and his fibbing and I think it’s wonderful that he tried to keep the surprise for everyone as long as he could!
Andrew is the only reason I didn't think his spiderman would be in the movie. Literally he was the one saving the surprise for me. Unfortunately I wasn't able to see the movie till too late and videos on youtube had popped up in my feed... but I still had the faintest doubt because of Andrew, and upon watching, I was able to have a great time.

The reason he was laying is very reasonable. I'm pretty sure he signed something like an agremeent with the studio, to keep the secrets. If the agreement was broke, he would be in trouble/got sued. Why many people don't understand this.

He's right. The surprise is what everybody pretends they don't really want. I dunno..... Towards the end when he was talking bout not telling his friends. He stopped looking directly into the camera while denying telling any of his closest friends. That right there is a sign of fibbing, when you can no longer make direct eye contact...
