The way we usually play is 3 dribbles , one shot attempt. It shows true offensive and defensive skill. Also u can jus throw the ball at the backboard and keep running after it .
I think if you're able to shoot the three, it's a good idea to shoot it every time when you are playing 1s and 2s. Normally the 3 point shot is worth 1.5 times the score of a 2 point shot (3:2) but it would seem more economical to shoot it when it is 2 times the score of a 2 pointer (2:1).
