Just in case anyone wants to know, you shouldn't store oils in clear glass or in sunlight. The light causes the oils to degrade and can produce harmful compounds. That's why high quality oils come in dark glass bottles. Store oils in their original containers preferably in a dark cupboard or pantry, not as decoration.

I think the dishes in the dishwasher was to dry them. That's what my best friends parents used to do. Saved money on water by washing them themselves and saved counter space with drying them
