I love this deck. Bought it a month ago. Very powerful. 6 of wands keeps jumping out. It brings a contemporary perspective to the old RWS system and stays true to it.
Thank you! I really enjoyed your comparison and the thoughts you shared. It was very helpful. I too was not attracted to this deck for the longest time, I hadn’t seen much of it and didn’t want too either lol. My reaction was always like “uhh no it seems too watery!” I’m a fire sign. Haha, but I think you are right it is Swordsy for sure! I fell in love with it recently as I have been accepting previously less acknowledged parts of myself. Now I’m very strongly attracted to this deck and just ordered a copy tonight, and can’t wait for it to come in the mail. 💗🌻
Thanks for this lovely lady! It's always in the card stock the re-creation differs. Indie decks have a knack for producing superb cardstock and the original Fountain Tarot is amongst that statement. Big love and keep making awesome videos. OH! I did really enjoy your journey through the 78 cards, very nicely done.
I’m glad you said the deck is hard to shuffle, I have the Roost edition and it has been very hard to shuffle. I even went and got fanning powder! But I’m glad I’m not the only one!
Just bought it for myself after a long wait. Watching flipthroughs and reviews on youtube in anticipation while it ships. Thanks for the video and sending love back your way!
Hey thanks for this vid as viewing it has made me add this deck on my cart on Amazon! Not yet clicked that purchase button yet but out of all the Fountain Tarot vids I've viewed on YT this 1 is my fav 😀
I liked what you shared about feeling like this was a very ethereal and "swordsy" deck... and I wondered what decks you liked in terms of a more grounded/ earthy deck that maybe carries more weight?
I paid $32.04 on Amazon for my deck. This is my first set of Tarot cards and I'm very pleased with them. One question though...I don't see any male card readers, just women...is there a reason for that?
Hi Derek - do you mean that you don't see any male readers on UA-cam etc? There are some really wonderful channels out there - like Tom Benjamin, Steven Bright, Two Spirit, Patrick J. Fogarty, Two of Owls, Angelo Nasios, Andrew MacGregory, Mirrors of Consciousness, Soren the Untamed Seidwitch, Brian Cormack Carr, The Tiger's Abyss...
I think that I just saw you on television after the derailment in Tacoma/Dupont. I am not sure it was you if if it is then I just wanted to send you good energy and hope that you are ok. Such a tragedy. Namaste, many blessings.
Hi Amanda - do you mean self-published decks? I usually learn about stuff on UA-cam, or Instagram, or Facebook or one of the online forums... And it's always good to keep checking Etsy, Indiegogo and Kickstarter for new decks that have emerged, or that folks are trying to fund. - Am I answering your question??? -
And then there is the chinese edition. With bad paper for cards. A little box that seems to explode because the cards can't stay inside. The box was printed very bad. And you get the guidebook only if you remember to ask it to the seller. And it's the scan of the official guidebook. And expecially, the seller is a thief who buy tarots just to make money instead of the person who deserves them more: the author. I'm so sad to haven't discovered the name of this tarot before or I would have never bought it on that site :(
I'm so happy I've find this. After a long time of change something clicked with this beautiful deck. And it's always important to know if there are relevant changes and which ones these are. So my question is : Did you find out the changes in the guidebook? I read on reddit "there are minor additions to the booklet with new spreads, things that maybe should have been in there the first time, like how to do a reading if you're a first-time tarot user". Could you confirm that? Did they only add a few things and didn't cut parts of the texts? It's only there are fewer pages in the new guidebook than in the old one. Thank you in advance :)
Truth be told, I have not investigated the guidebook in great detail in either edition.... I have the new guidebook on hand, but will dig out the 1st edition when I can and investigate. Thanks for bringing this up!
@@MindfulTarot I like the silver box to be honest. I just made my sister a gold version to put a deck of her RWS in. I've heard good things of the quality of The Fountain, it is very Air to me, and unique in the images which I appreciate and so unlike anything I've ever seen, so I suppose I will eventually get it
The information you provided was good, but I also had to stop halfway through. I think it would have been better if you had compared the cards before filming, then you could have stayed on track with your review.
Yep - that's how I felt for a long time too. I've been won over in the past few months - after it sat in my collection, dull and lifeless, for more than a year!

Thank you for your insight :) I will definitely look into those channels. Thank you for taking the time to answer my question!

Yes! me too! What do you like about it??

thanks for the feedback!
I wish I could get along with this deck. It's just so lifeless to me. Its beautiful and all, but I having it in hand it does nothing for me.
Yep - that's how I felt for a long time too. I've been won over in the past few months - after it sat in my collection, dull and lifeless, for more than a year!
I had to turn you off, your rambling on and on about nothing of importance.
Thanks for stopping by anyway - and sorry you found me rambling. We all have our favorites and the folks we cannot abide. Blessings and peace to you.
