I've been curious about this tool, thanks Jeff for the review. I always look forward to stopping by the showroom when I'm in the Springs, love seeing your Mule front and center.

Great video as always Jeff, my question is even if it can break your chain trail side and has the ability to put the side plate back on the chain does it have the ability to also instal a new rivet link? Is there a quad peen adapter in the kit that replaces the Pin for removal? I ask because I wouldn't trust a clip link other than to get to safety or to a place do a proper rivet link. You can "old school" brace the link from the backside with a sledge hammer and peen it over with a ball peen hammer if needed but if I need to bring a sledge and ball peen hammer with me l'd be better off using the bigger MP chain tool and save substantial space and weight by not having to pack things to do a rivet link trail side if the tool won't do this.
Awesome content as always but it seems it might be a better tools for trail bikes running 520 clip links and somehow got the ADV name and not the function to get your 525-530 chains back going.

      Hello Ryan:
The ADV tool does not fasten a rivet link. We all have different comfort levels. Although a rivet link is better, clip links have been getting the job done for a long time. I've ridden 1000s of miles with clip links long before the rivet link was available.

My 2022 890 ADV R came with a 520 and uses the same rear sprocket as my EXCF.
