Focus on the areas where you lost marks in the mocks, do as many practice questions as you can & try to avoid cramming. I'd recommend asking your teachers for some advice too- after I got a 3 in my Biology mock, my teacher sent me some websites which I found really helpful. You've got this :)
I know this may not help you, but when doing 30 markers make sure you utilise your time efficiently. Start timing yourself! What I would start of with is learning the topic back to front. Do Mindmaps to help you expand your knowledge. After doing your mindmaps blurt out your knowledge (blurting is when you read your notes for 10-15 minutes and then close your notes and start blurting out everything you remember). For 30 markers I would definitely say aim to do 5-6 main body paragraphs!. Make sure to keep your introduction short and explain your arguments. Also, explain your key concepts (social solidarity = society being harmonious by working together) if you explain your concepts you’ll get extra marks! Also try and use good structure, I use PEEAL (point, explain, evidence, analysis and link)
Ah i'm so nervous, good luck everybody!!
You've got this!
Would you be able to do another GCSE sociology walkthrough? x
What would your advice be to someone who got 3s and 4s in a subject in their mocks but are trying to improve in this short amount of time left?
