    I'm glad you kept the pad on the left. I think it's needed to balance the tree.

    The final result looks very nice. Personally, I would leave a bit more foliage, just because I'm afraid it's going to die.

    Took off too much foliage for my taste…the veins look nice though.

      It does look a bit "Charlie Brown'ish". However, I do like the possibilities for the future the way he trimmed it. I guess we'll see in a couple of years.
