The sound quality on the video doesn't do it justice. The bottom end on the Keeley mod gives some delicious bottom end to the tone. It really gives a body to the guitarwork of a song. I would recommend it for anybody who has the expertise and little bit of extra cash.
Great demo- v interesting and nicely put together. Many thanks for posting!! Am Going against the grain here. Prefer it stock, (aghast shock and horror!) I feel the keely mod is defo more corpulent but lacking in transparency and edge in the trade off. I got mine modded and tried to live with it for about a year but went back to stock. To each their own, I guess - vive la difference.
Thanks for a great demo! Next week im getting my keeley bd-2. Based on this review i think ill like the pedal w/the switch off but just hearing it directly i will decided better :)
Nice pickin' I did like that. I think i prefer live vids with pedals getting stomped on and off. The original BD-2 doesnt seem too far off of the Keeley. I can here some slight tonal changes in the higher softer attack notes. Dont know if its worth the extra bucks just to have that cool Keeley switch on your pedal board.
