I absolutely love the battle engi v2 idea you had man and mabey this'll be like a very rare chance but the engine can spawn a giant version of the robots but it'll be extremely rare but op
i think the idea is awesome, but also consider this, instead of it being a wrench replacement, what about a PDA replacement, and then you have the option to build tele's like normal, but, instead of the sentry and dispenser, you'd have a chance to spawn in 1 of the 3 offensive classes but as robots as the replacement for the sentry, and a chance to spawn 1 of the 3 support classes but as robots, if anyone would like to change or add to this idea, please continue.

Your Battle Engi idea sounds great and I now have thought of something, if he builds a Pyro it will act as a Pybro. I know, pretty basic but that is sadly all I could come up with.

The way you could have engi make robots would be if he made a mini scout that hits enemy’s with a bat dealing 9 damage pre hit and the weapon would be called “Texas robotics” -20 damage +15 health +10 movement speed when around mini scout

Oh wait I got another one. Engie has a small chance of building a sentry buster. all it can do is run to the nearest enemy sentry and explode. perfect for those easy-to-reach sentry camps. (there is also a chance of building a smaller one but it's explosion can take out 1 building and deal splash damage around it. and it's weaker and it doesn't explode if it dies)

When you were talking about engi building a robot, a potential balance is that it costs almost your entire metal supply
