I'm 40 and I just got back on a skateboard last year for the first time since I was 20. One thing for sure is falling hurts a lot more now and take a lot longer to heal. SO this dude deserves love just for how well he eats those beefs, let alone his bad as skating. Dude was going really fast too.
I get so much enjoyment out of skating and every bit of blood and sweat last year was worth every second when I landed my first kickflip. Had snow on the ground for 3 months so today was my first day since snow fell and I almost landed a heelfip. Seeing dudes like this are extremely inspiring.

I started skating when i was 10, quit when i was 17, and started again at 21. Im now 22, a year back in and i don't know why i ever stopped. I only lost 4 years and im alr progressing again but i can't imagine how much better i would be now if i never stopped. For anyone who hasn't skated in a while and thinks ab it, the longer you wait the more you will kick yourself for wasting time when you finally start again. For anyone thinking ab quitting just take more breaks, but not for too long or you will regret letting yourself loose tricks and board control. Keep shredding and progressing as long as you can 💯

Thanks for showing this. I’m 41 and took 20 years off my board. I’ve been getting back into it and still have about 15 tricks I can do. This definitely encourages me to push myself to see what else I can learn. I’ve also been forcing myself to skate switch since I have to start over again. I already got my switch ollie and fs 180 down. Wishing that I could skate more often but a session takes awhile to recover, since I have a spine injury from snowboarding combined with nerve damage from 30 years of rollerblading.
I have missed skateboarding especially for the option to bail 😅😂

hell yeah, im 35 and just started skating again after 20 years of no skating...its brutally painful, but slowly my skate legs are comin back

Same here dude I'm turning 30 this year, its taking months but now my knees are starting to feel like they have a layer of protection. Ive injured myself probably 10 times since november last year and now the same things that led to those injuries I can do easily. I found it was like pull one muscle, recover, fuck up another muscle, recover again, cycle repeats but you end up building those tendons and problem areas. Keep it up man. Edit: another thing that I found helped when my legs were basically dehydrated rubber, was the docs recommendation for creatine, I was taking a maximum serving each day which definitely helped my muscles rehydrate.
@@skippyskater I drink 1 glass of Luke warm water 3 times a week with a pack of knox gelatin mixed in (basically collagen) helps repair tendons and ligaments quickly

I'm 40. I bought 2 completes so I could start skating again... skated for over 10 years in my younger years. But my legs were jello so I gave up immediately haha. I need to give it another go here soon.
