Perfect for a Paladin that broke his oath.
That sounds like a great premise for a book.
"The next song is for the all Oathbreakers out there"
Rapid Alignment Movement
I like that, it does sound perfect if you take it literally. But did you know "Losing my religion" is an expression for losing one's temper? It could definitely be a barbarian's theme as well!
@@brewmastermonk9356 Check out the Vows and Honour series by Mercedes Lackey.
Me thinks I heard your laughter
Twas in my mind, I perceived you sing
Me thinks I thought I gleaned your effort
Alas, it was only a dream
Indeed, a meer dream
Ah, the theme song of the Spanish Inquisition, haven’t heard this version since at least 1478. Love the classics!

😅🤣😂🤣😁
@@KeithFraser82 The irony is that the Spanish Inquisition always gave 30 day notice, so the subject had time to get their documents in order... or confess!
Fun fact! The Spanish Inquisition didn't officially end until the Napoleonic Wars, and one of the last targets of the Inquisition were agents of the then-newly-formed United States of America, who were believed to be spreading anti-monarchist literature in Spain.
This reminds me of a song for cleric who was abandoned by their deity.
I think Red Hot Chili Pepper's 'Under the Bridge' would work fantastic in a bardcore version!
This!
Yes!
Under the bard
I’d love this so much!

That beeth me in the corner, that beeth me in the candle light, losing mine religion!

Nürburg castle has pretty much to offer - even Horsewagon enthusiasts gather for good chants on this channel.
I remember hearing this one live at Stonehenge, Algal brought in some local druids to do the backing and it really heightened the experience. Easily the highlight of the solstice celebration!
i think algal isn’t a person, but a spirit, possessing a individuals who are capable of harnessing music like no other.
Honestly the perfect song choice. Always stuff I never think of but fits so seamlessly.
I love that you alter the rhythms to fit the more medieval/renaissance style and it still sounds wonderful.
Love the added vocals/choir/chant (whichever it is). Once again sir Algal, great cover!
Edit: After listening to this cover a couple times, I must say the overall recording and mix is superb. 👌
Algal the bard strikes again 📜
Great song, the added chants were a surprise, but a pleasant one.
The vocals are fantastic 👌
Fits perfect...ohh my gosh...this was the best time...anno 1256 on the market near the Cathedral in Cologne
Amazing rendition of this song. Even more amazing is your talent and ability to perform all of the instrumentals and vocals on your own. A true bard. Thank you for your creations.
Absolutely brilliant sir! Another contemporary classic that you have translated to Bardcore with your usual high level of skill and talent! Have to admit ever since your duet work with Hildegard Von Blingin, keep hoping you two will do more. Think this song would be a perfect choice for another collaboration.
A haunting tune that rolls around in your head for a while. Jethro Tull fans would love this style. If you like this you would really enjoy Joan Baez's album called Baptism.
Love Tull. Original music. Saw them live twice.
I'd love a bardcore version of Heavy Horses... :)
Or Broadsword ^^
Or Huntig Girl
Still great, I've heard it in my local tavern since the 12th century.
Martin Luther and Jan Hus rocking out like.
Almost cried when the vocal came in
This is one of my favourite songs, and it's been made even better by this rendition.
Don't let the high priest hear this death by wheel is not a pleasant one lol. great cover man i love you
Great song, great performance. By far my favorite bard!
I just show up and upvote these songs at this point. Every one is amazing
My favorite REM song, needed this today. Thank you
it's so beautiful, i love how melancholic your flute sound on this cover
Wow this was great! I love the multitude of instruments you play. Could you cover "Don't bring me down" by Electric Light Orchestra?
Or Mr Blue Sky
Ticket to the moon.
Fire on High
I love everything this man does ❤️ The song choices are like they were always meant to be done this way 👍😎
new background)) nice cover btw 🖤🤘
When will you make a new video?😢
Здарова, мужики!
Between this and the Gregorian version, it makes for an interesting soundtrack for a fantasy campaign.
I was just thinking how this and the Gregorian version would sound when mixed together
Hitting it out of the park as always.
Vocals?! Actual goosebumps here, love it!
Freaking dope, dude. I love everything you put out
Algal putting out bangers as usual
The bard delivers once more! Fantastic rendition.
Perfectly Forlorn.
Love it.
i don't know how you do it but you keep medievaly shredding it for me with every single you pull out. Awesome!
Lovely! As an REM fan, I love it.
Oh man this version blew my mind 😍 incredibly nicely done 👏
The time signature change is a viiiiibe
More please. 100% need a bardcore playlist
Spotify?
J’ai bien aimé par REM mais c'est très bien aussi par vos instruments.
I could play all your medieval style songs in the background playing my favorite PC games: AoE II, Stronghold, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Knights of Honor, Crusader Kings... they fit perfectly. True talent!
Meu amigo, vc é um grande artista! Estou aqui no Brasil vendo varios vídeos!!
Parabéns!!
Fantástico!!
Estupendo!!
BRAVOOOOO
Love your work! Even with songs that I don't like or I'm just tired of hearing, I hear your versions multiple times. Thanks a lot, this sounds incredible as usual!
Loving the new time signature
Este hombre no deja de sorprenderme.
Awesome!!!
Excellent performance.
excellent
I think Seal's kiss by a rose would be awesome in bardcore style
Hauntingly beautiful.
Simply amazing.
Wonder so hunting, this is now on my playlist
THIS IS AWESOME!!! 😱
It was rather dangerous to say "losing my religion" at that time... But cover is beautiful.
Especially in king Henry viii time. When they did lose their religion
Шикарный кавер!!!👍 БРАВО!!
Another perfect cover as always! This one has an especially hearty vibe to it, love it!
This gave me chills. Thank you so much for all you create!!
Amazing as always ❤️
Magnifique !
This is on another Level!Masterpiece!
Freaking goosebumps man! You've done it again Algal.
Krásné děkuji 🍀
De las mejores que te he escuchado (Y han sido casi todas)! Me encanta esta versión y este tema, y los coros que has introducido me parecen súper diferenciales, enhorabuena!
Just absolutely fantastic! 💯
Классная песня, и классный кавер!👍🔥🤟💥

Just awesome
Stunningly good. Thank you so much. 😊
All music is BARDCORE!!!!! Love it!
Amazing! 👏👏👏
Спасибо! Это волшебно :)
One of my dearest friends took his own life and on his departure letter he asked me to listen to this music to remember him, it's been a decade, I still listen to it to exhaustion and it makes me so happy because makes me think about him. Thanks for this gift.
Tu música siempre me acompaña en mis viajes por España, dando una banda sonora a cada escena, mil gracias.
man, it’s so cool how you change the tempo from 4 to 3, it’s very well done, i like it so much 👏
Eres tan talentoso, me encantan tus videos demasiado!!!!
That was phenomenal
Fantastic thank you 😊
beyond beautiful
Волшебно 🤩
This is amazing!
Love pulling up the lyrics and singing these songs while you play them.
Awesome.
I was half expecting you to still use mandolin for the riff, it has a very fantasy tavern sound. But mandolins didn't actually come around until around the Baroque period so the zither is a good call.
so beautiful. My favourite REM song of all time
Couldn’t agree more with everyone else… absolutely brilliant!!
this one is amazing
Nice, perfect start into the weekend
J'adore ton travail,tu es trop fort,tu prouve que l'on peut jouer ce que l'on veut avec tout les instruments ❤️🙏
Wow you moved me to tears, such an important song in my life, thank you sir
