I just broke into my 50s. I remember the reign of "financial terrorism" Trudeau senior brought upon my parents and all of their friends. I now get to live it as my parents did. I would suggest that you aren't embarrassed about being a Canadian, but rather you are embarrassed that Canadians chose Trudeau to be the captain of the the ship called Canada. And that's the mentality. More concerned about his anti Trudeau rants than substance. No one can afford to travel and my passport has been gathering dust since before the pandemic. I don't even know what it looks like and I don't care. Affordability is all I care about. Rents, food, mortgages and life in general is unaffordable and he's joking about passports we can't afford to renew, let alone use. He impresses me less every single time he opens his mouth.
You must not be listening to what he is saying then. You complain about the cost of living... who do you think brought the financial mess we are in?
