I'm sorry I haven't seen the film. But I get your drift. Actually, I prefer Filipinas without direct foreign ascendancy as representative of the Philippines in beauty pageants like Wynwyn Marquez. The typical morena, classic Pinay look is to me more appealing and genuinely representative of the Philippines. (Although to be clear, I'm no longer an avid watcher of beauty pageants after having embraced feminism).
