I was watching two parts of a Chinese BLs (parts of HIStory) and I legit hated the toxic top and bottom (diff couples) but here I was still drooling over their chemistry istg- 😭
FUTS just so light, simple and funny. I miss it so much. I know NLMG is beautifully done and Pond is like glowing with attractiveness and Phuwin looks like a runaway model there but... Ahh this was such a good moment of nostalgia! I feel like FUtS got a bit shafted because it had an atypical plot and was a comedy, but I enjoyed it, there are so many good moments and I'm a sucker for the in-denial dynamic this show had going on. Both of them have improved since this show too, and that's cool to see also! They're doing so great in NLMG. This edit was so good, starting with the most surprising moment (the way I screamed lol Mork has zero chill) so many parallels, plus pls the way you zoomed/slowed on Phi/Phuwin licking his lips multiple times!!! But it also often allows for another of my favourite tropes, the daddy-long-legs style "I will support you anonymously from a distance because that is all I can do", which I love, as well as the "all of your assumptions/what you've been told/who I'm pretending to be is a lie, and when you know the real me you'll fall in love" trope which killsssss me, so I tend to like a lot of the very silly "these sunglasses/this v obviously named anonymous account mean you'll never guess who I really am" kind of stories 🤣
