Hi Chelle. I have fine low density hair. I just wanted to thank you so much. I tried your idea of cocktailing a serum into a gel this morning on a second day refresh. OH WOW! definition, shine, looks incredibly hydrated. I was on the point of having my hair all chopped off. I am a year and a half into my curly journey, this tip has saved me. I had never heard of it before. Thank you so much! Regards. Sher.

I’m slow to watch this one but I sure have found this useful. I have been on this curly/wavy journey for 4 years now. I never expected to ever go back to ironing my hair again. Then we move to an area where a soft water unit is a must. I’m not kidding, my hair went from 2C waves to 2B using this water. I have really considered giving up on the wavy hair thing. Thank you for considering us fine haired gals. I’m gonna give several of these a try.

Watched the entire video before going to Google to find out what a cast is to see if I am one of those people who “like a cast” or not. 😅

    This video was so helpful!
    - I feel like my hair type is often overlooked (medium density, 70% coarse grey hair & 30% fine dark hair). It's beyond wonderful to hear you VERY accurately describe every challenge I encounter with my hair.
    - Many of the techniques and products you're recommending are ones that I've discovered, after much trial and error, work for me too. It builds a ton of confidence in your advice that I haven't yet tried and I'll definitely be following along with your channel! Excited to learn more!

I found this video so recently (coming a bit late to the game) and the evolvh total control styling cream was such a game changer for me! I don't like mousse cause it dries my hair and I don't like the crunch of gel (I can't scrunch it out of the life of me), and this product made my hair look, smell, and feel fantastic! Thanks for making a great video for us fine haired people

Treluxe stylers i think works great for every single hair type. Especially their mousse! My hair is coarse and very dry and that mousse is by far my favorite styler along with the gel. Ive seen so many reviews of those with fine hair also loving it

I’m a fine haired girl and I’m having so much luck with the living proof gel and wave cream. I usually CANNOT use creams and my hair is so voluminous and pretty. I will say I don’t really go for definition so I’m not sure if it’s great for definition. Just wanted to post a comment for people looking for other options! I also HATED the innercense foam I tried it in winter and summer and it did not work for me. I actually returned it to Ulta yesterday 😅

I love the Evolvh shampoos and conditioners and leave-ins. Ouidad makes a leave-in for fine hair that I really like in the winter. It provides a little bit more moisture than Evolvh but still doesn't weigh down my hair. I like the CurlSmith multi-tasking conditioner as a deep conditioner.

Thank you for this info! I just purchased the Evolvh Total Control styling cream based on this video. I'm trying to find a potential one and done that would work well for a low maintenance routine for my cruise this Spring. 👍

I love the rizo's gel, & i agree with you that it's got a stronger hold. I actually get a nice cast from it, probably because my hair is fine. The foam gives my hair a residue feeling that I'm not a fan of, but I've only used it twice so I'm still experimenting with it.

The gel is definitely one of my favorites! Bummer about the residue from the mousse though. Hopefully you find a way where you don’t get that feeling.

Great video (the first one of yours that I've seen). I have 2A to 2B waves with fine, medium density grey hair which I wear in a pixie cut, longer on the top. I'm always looking not only for volumizers, but also products which will help tighten those waves and encourage them to curl. Any suggestions, or do you have a video on that?

My hair is fine but thick, and the opposite of curly hair....the longer it is the more curly at the ends/mids. When it's shorter the hair loosens into waves with curls at the ends. My hair has too much body and needs to be weighed down somewhat. It's a tricky balancing act.
