I would be interested to see how you backstitch sometime. I turn my work over and tie a knot to secure that single thread. I am guessing that you have a better way to secure the thread since there is no cross involved.
I do pin stitch on a nearest square where is gonna do full stitch later. Same when I end it. If there's no empty square nearby, I secure the thread with tucking it under stitch like how I end thread usually.
@@StitchingDreamer Hmmm.. the full crosses are usually completed in the area I am going to backstitch. I have tried that under a cross that is already done, but sometimes the black thread shows through. Thanks!
