I was bawling my eyes out when watchpartying UK’s win against Canada. That win meant so so much to the team for so many reasons. I’m so proud of them 🥹🥹🥹
owc staff need to watch their backs because I was robbed of my channel points in the showmatch and I will not forgive that. canada vs uk was one of the best matches in owc history imo. the fact that chicony got BOTH top scores on dt1 is insane consistency. it feels like even though he took a break he is even better than before at tournaments. I think korea have some insane aura this year. some of their team scores arent even unmatched and they still sweep even solid teams. FM4 got banned 0 times and picked 0 times. shame because its a banger.
This is the only comment from you I will keep visible on this video so people can spam "ChaosEater39". I will hide the rest of yours because you've been spamming quite a bit the last few vids
@@Junihuhn bro im not spamming I have a lot to say because you are recapping 10+ matches in one video 😭😭Ill just edit everything into one comment then.
Hahah, that is a much of a surprise juni. I actually saw Cory Yee as well here last year and he's actually a nice person. Back into the vid, I'm happy for 3 reasons: 1. PH with top 16 even without hyeok and enri 2. 2 tiebreakers happened and its all on Canada's side. 3. SK beating USA's record in 2019 getting clean sweeps in 4 rounds in a row (USA lost 2 maps before finals). I hope we can have a very good winners finals this time around (and hopefully, TB will be played).
One more thing i would like to mention is that, ngl when i saw sk roster for this year, i thought to myself that if they can't win with such a great team, then i don't even know what CAN stop usa from winning... yet it seems like americans are still somehow beat several sk scores which is just ridiculous considering how broken Korea is rn
SK's run this year is something else. It's actually the second time this has happened in OWC history but that's only by a technicality - the dutch team managed to pull this off in 2011 during the very first OWC. I'm not sure if anything like this happened during OWC #3 because sadly the data for that tournament is incomplete on the wiki (though a quick glance at the forum posts implies that nothing like that happened), but it did happen at least once before. That said, I think SK's run is significantly more impressive and is the first time this has happened since the introduction of the double elimination format in 2014.
amazing ending LOL Jokes aside, glad to see some close matches at this stage and certain VERY interrsting narratives building up (iykyk, I don't want to jinx them just yet) FINGERS CROSSED we get to see a new champion this year (no offense to the usa but it'd be good to know that they aren't absolutely indestructible when it comes to the late game at every single recent iteration of the tournament)
Was not at home on Sunday + Monday...and it had a special reason (Genshin Impact concert lol).
Much thanks to Cory Yee for the outro!

It’s official. There are no timestamps for the matches. Random person(not me dw) day is ruined.
