Čiūto-tūto is our folkloric motive that were used in Lithuanian folk songs and dances, as magical incantations, which by repeating constantly, helps began to hear the voice of our heart more and more.
I see this comment from different people under every single video about this song. People, correct mistakes when copy-pasting it. "helps began"??? wtf.

Thanks so much for the amazing reaction! :) The orange outfit and the earrings actually represent the "Lithuanian gold", amber, which is our traditional symbol in folklore and traditional jewellery deeply rooted in our culture and paganism tradition :) That is why she is so orangey. I love the chorus!!! It's such a moment when they kind of circle together and start chanting. It feels very communal. She's singing about finding yourself but the vibe is also about togetherness. Really great performance.

And her earrings are from amber. Amber has 256 shades in general. Čiūto tūto has no meaning it is like lalalala, an archaic sounword used in the old Lithuanian contractual songs, that usually women were singing gathering together after work all day in their farms and homes. Lithuanian contractual songs are phenomena worldwide and they are included in UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List.

Хотілось би додати, що надзвичайно приємно бачити на сцені дуже гарну жінку, яка влучно підкреслила свою природню красу. Стриманий, як для сцени макіяж підкреслив, а не перекрив нам таке гарне обличчя виконавиці. Коротка стильна зачіска, а не довжелезні накручені локони, доречна сукня, яка демонструє шикарні ноги, а не все оголоне тіло зробили образ довершеним. Нарешті жива людина.

always nice 2 c u both happy 😍 Lithuanias entry is really nice - I loved Cesar Sampson from Austria or the Mamas from Sweden - so for sure they will qualify - although its nothing new - but we wont expect something exciting new , different from Lithuania as they didnt vote for amazing Alen Chicco or Rita Mur... thats Lithuania... going the safe way... and I love the uplifting message from the song and its by far better than last years entry
I watched the national final of this. A strong set of songs. This was not my favourite, but it will do well. Monica #1 sang a new song called 'Bully' which is great!

I have kind of mixed feelings , yeah its nice but it doesnt do anything special with me .
My favorite was Petunija with her amazing , soul touching song Love of my life , if that song were chosen they for sure would easily reach the top 5 in the grand final or even won the contest that song made me cry and gave me the chills all over , This song is not even close to win and i doubt if they make it to the final at all .
Ok song but nothing spectacular. Better though than what we’ve heard so far
Monika won the jury vote 10-12, while another singer won the tele vote 12-10. Usually jury and tele vote are considered equal but if there’s a tie, the jurys choice is the winner. People are really upset, not because Monikas song is bad or anything but once again the voice of the people was ignored. Why is the opinion of some old men worth more than the tele votes of a whole country? Doesn’t make sense to me.
