@@Rockking1111 A bit late to this lol. Frans Steyn’s best position for his skill set is 12, but for the team he’s better at 15. Two big boots with Pollard and Steyn at 15 would allow SA to dominate tactically
Hes not mobile enough to play at fullback. He would just get run around all day everyday. He strongest defensively in the midfield where he has to deal with forwards and crash ball. It would be stupid to play him at fullback espetially given that we already lack creativity in the midfield with De Allende and Am and you want to remove le Roux who is one of our creative elements in favour of another player that is slow and lacks creativity. He only fits in at the center and can cover fullback and flyhalf only in an emergency situation where le Roux, Gelant, Pollard and Jantjies aren't available. Hes a bench player to be used as a utility sub in case of injury and thats it
Callum Scott maybe you right but they said the same thing in 2009 and we beat the all blacks with three tools. Big boots pushing them back, line out domination, and ability to steal the ball with Brussow. Steyn was a huge part of that system and he’s looking lean again this wc
@@ryanwaugh1 still not in the best shape for 15 tho. He was struggling to catch up with the other 12 defensively. If it was a better team, he would have struggled even more.
Its only a matter of time before namibia gets better. New zealand coaches are already looking at going over there to scout players to come to super rugby. Same with england, theyve had there eyes on namibia an japan for awhile. I believe by the next world cup namibias going to be a different team and they will be underdogs but they will get there. @@Kizdo69 Not the point. At the end of the pool stages, points difference counts, and we would not want any side to be better than us because of a referee. Also, those calls get missed in all games, not just the ones against Namibia, and we have been on the receiving end of some of them and they have cost us matches. All we want is good honest and fair refereeing in all games so that the rugby wins the game, not the referee.
