- Samoa’s new Prime Minister Fiame Naomi Mata’afa has had to wait for over 100 days to assume power. The leader of the ‘Faʻatuatua i le Atua Samoa ua Tasi’ or FAST Party got down to business this week, holding her first cabinet meeting. John Pulu has this story.

The victory by FAST winning the election was legal, moral and rightful. Blessing on the new Prime Minister on the many challenges she faces and hopefully all elected members of the cabinet follow her example and carry out their duties with, dignity, respect and honesty.

Agree 100%, no doubt he was given money to stay silent, he's just as corrupt as kuilaepa. I hope they will lock kuilaepa up for contempt of court orders and breaking the law as well. He needs to be punished for his corrupt ways.
I don't think Fiame or the previous pm knows what they're doing. Neither are engaged with what's going on around the world and have a sense of how samoa is positioned and what can be done to get the ground work done to begin moving samoa into the right direction. I think she's a lovely lady and when I read the comments about how they love the way she speaks with grace and dignity, well that's not what you vote for in a prime minister.
People vote for politicians based on popularity and charisma. This is true for all countries in the world. How engaged can a small island country be with the world? Tuilaepa and Fiame's level of engagement is not a problem. The most important engagement for any leader is to the electorate that got them in office, not the world.
If hes has a good experience hes not suppose to behave badly like the whole world see his actions and his behaviour abused people and very aggressive behaviour towards others
