This game is literally Overwatch x Paladins. I really wish they would add the deck system from paladins where you can upgrade specific parts of your abilities or just straight health
I never understood why people shat on Paladins that whole deck system was so dope, it made each game punitive and high stake. There was never meta in ranks, the only major comps were new champions release. That's because you could turn tanks into offtank or flanks, have better mobility, go for hero play in the sky and shit reloading ammo with each kill, etc. I was grinding that game when OW1 was dog back in like 2020. My Androxus and Maeve was on a different level of ADHD.
I think the hitboxes is what made the game bad at low ranks because the mass only focus on aim instead of strategy. In high elo you had to be on meth to stay alert to everything and that's where all the fun was as opposed to OW "they have the meta comp and one of my teammate is throwing = I lose 15 minutes of my life for a definite loss or I get lucky but hate my life after."
@@charlesm.2604 Paladins was not liked because OW1 was just a much more polished game as a whole, even if it was paid.
For most people the deck system in Paladins is the "shop" of Dota/CS, people liked Overwatch because they didn't have to deal with any of that shit in between, everybody is on an even playing field.
Additionally: the lack of "weight" and "feedback" on actions becomes apparent quite fast. Marvel Rivals is also a prime example of that, it's why people tune in and go "holy what is this, idk what is happening lmao".
How is this like paladins when the only thing that made paladins unique was the building system?

just so everyone knows, they put in the contract (if xqc got access from signing it which he may not have) that content creators cant say anything bad about the game and I think comparing it to OW also breaks contract technically (though they wont enforce that as its bad business). Quite a scummy move and very rare. Then again it is NetEase so no surprises there really.

Yo fellow X. Here is the best pair imo. As a fellow tryhard... Groot. Rocket Racoon, Magneto, Punisher, Mantis, Hela or Starlord.. Trust me.
Magnetos shields as a tank and Mantis heals and abilities. Magnetos damage as a tank mixed with Groot and Rocket teamed up on his back healing the main tank, AND having combined abilities. And just...Hela and Starlord being insane DPS matched with Punisher...SHEEESH

this game is gonna run into the same problem siege has been going through there’s gonna be so many characters they add on as time goes by it’s gonna have a roster of like 100 characters and be aids to counter

siege, league, dota, paladins have more than 30 characters and those game are still alive after 5 years. whats your counter argument?
@@ImotekhtheStormlord-tx2it being alive doesn't mean it doesn't run into these problems. It doesn't necessarily kill the games, but they do often run into a weird spot for a moment before all adjustments are made.
it means more balancing work for the devs and I personally lose interest after a certain point, but that's a personal opinion. I understand why games reinvent the games that way. It would obviously run into different problems by keeping the exact same roster for years, such as redundancy and ironclad comps

They need to make the maps bigger these maps way to small/confined no space to really fight like overwatch gives
It's a mix of third person view + small maps + the characters mobility is fast even some in the air
there not so much mobility for each characters, plus you can destroy the buildings which creates more spaces
@default8274 excluding the fact that some areas on the map gets deconstructed after fully destroyed, yeah only a few characters has high mobility but still noticeable, for example if you watch x playing rocket racoon here he could literally dash all over the map

Nah, bro. Game looks like paladins and the gameplay is intrinsically casual. What keeps overwatch alive is the fact that the game is competitive. Same thing as league of legends or counter strike

i don't get why some people are focusing on him not saying negative criticism. it's an early alpha access anyways. like at least focus on the good stuff and build on those. there's still how many iterations of alpha and beta early accesses.
People are focusing on it because he signed a contract saying that he wouldn't criticize the game... No streamer who plays the early access can give negative criticisms as per the contract. Thats how they got the access key.

I was just bringing up the controversial part that is WHY people are focusing on the overall lack of negative criticisms of a game that is so obviously a copy of the other popular games in its genre.
At best the agreement is a way to scare people into being silent about things they don’t like. Sure X can get away with it, but smaller streamers not so much. That’s a bad thing.

Game feels random, to be honest. Abilities don't really click. Character designs are kinda dull. The game doesn't seem to translate your skill or your strategy into winning. For example, when you use spider-man's swing, there is no objective way of knowing where it will grapple and in what direction it will launch you, so you may randomly hit a wall. Also, some characters have simply broken abilities, such as creating an area where anyone that dies immediately revives, or flying forever with no cooldown. The game itself isn't designed to be balanced or competitive

You’ve copied paste this twice so here is the debunk. There’s an option to set Spider-Man web slinging to manual where you aim it. They’re in alpha and are adding skins. It’s alpha they’ll balance out broken abilities which from what you listed isn’t even bad and the only person who abilities don’t click are black panthers which is getting fixed since this is an Alpha
