I have a Question: If someone is a fresh marketing graduate and would want to enter into the ad industry/agency what would be the entry level job that they should consider(preferably in the creative side) before levelling up to a creative team? (I know I can just google this but I want to hear it from someone in the ad industry as well) Thank you so much!!
Hi! Traditionally, if you have a knack for writing you can apply as a junior copywriter. If you have basic Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or After Effects skills and you can draw or do graphic design, you can apply as a junior art director. It doesn't really matter what course you finished anymore as long as you have the skills and the passion to back to it up. it also helps if you have work that can be found online to show off your interests and skill level. And it doesn't have to be anything too formal like your own website, if you've been populating your social media accounts with your work or it shows of how creative you can get, that can serve as your portfolio. Usually, depende naman sa art director kung ano ang mas gamay niyang program, Photoshop at Illustrator are used in all agencies I would assume. If you use other programs that are not as popular, like Blender or Clip Studio, hindi naman mahirap mag-transition to the industry standards.
Siya ang taga-organize ng lahat. The producer puts everything together, keeps tabs on all the moving parts of the operation. Kumbaga sa wedding, siya yung wedding organizer.
