Just want to say your video helped me defeat Abyssion today, just want to say Colete does a better job as a tank because she has gear set up that allows her to heal from fire skill thrown at her. Presea can do this as well. Below is the required equipment: Elemental Guard (Colette) / Prism Guard (Presea) Elemental Circlet Star Gauntlet Reflect Ring Reflect Ring This last slot of accessory is up to you, i used a blue talisman for more defense, but more elemental resistance depending on your situation might help as well (A paralysis charm or thunder cape for an example).
Here's a challenge for the absolute hardcore gamers! Mania mode only of course lol. Single player only! No continuous stun lock artes or spells with kratos, zelos, lloyd, etc, basically, you have to let Abyssion move and be able to attack at some point and not endlessly lock him in place forever. No manual switching between characters, so whoever you enter the fight with as your main, you can only use that character, and disallowed to switch at any time. No character changing at any point in the battle, which also includes manual usage of raine's buffing and defubbing spells on yourself and him. No Colette poison pow pow hammer, no physical or magical ailments to Abyssion, no summons, no arcane, or mystic artes, no items, no max level, no max stats, and no all-divide, which yes, I know he's immune to on the steam version, which is the only version I'm looking for. No unison attacks allowed at any point, which he's also immune to at half HP on Steam. It's pretty much a 4 vs 1 no bullshit on your part to fight as difficult and fair as you can...is he possible to beat? If he is, share you results and let me know, because this guy is a real mofo!
@@manikaditha6308 Oh, that's what you mean. Right, that's why I generally use two close fighters and keep the magicians at bay. Also, using Tempest, instead of Psi Tempest won't jump you too far away. You can just turn around and hit him in the back for bonus damage
@@darkbum1510 well, even if i set my spellcasters to use l range adn use skills/arte at once without regarding their tp, they always somehow try to hit the boss with melee even tho their tp is still at 80%. Seriously why? Lol.
Too bad you didn't use the Material Blade to enable Falcon's Crest. 20:36 Dat clutch heal with Nurse. You'd have died from Raging Beast's last hit. 21:59 Abyssion suddenly realizes he has incredible potential to wipe the shit out of you. 26:28 Zelos barely lived with 9k life, that's scary.
I was always thrown off when they go from cutscene straight to Abyssion just in his demon form and then Battle!!. Not even an attempt at a transformation sequence. lol. Too strong, didn’t need to.
@@camara1194 oh no doubt. A couple bad moves at any level and he'll wipe your whole team. My advice is to either learn to combo with Lloyd, Regal or Zelos/Kratos because they can actually loop enemies for a couple reps and with support from Genis can open him up or you take Lloyd or Presea and keep knocking him down at the end of your combos with beast or other hard knock down moves
@@XWings001 that might be my worse mistake is that I’m so used to using Sheena. Because she’s quick and fast, but you definitely wanna use “acuteness” and sharpness. I try to hit him hard with the combos.
This is actually extremely well done. Can safely say yours is the most interesting strategy I've seen used for handling him on mania mode, though I feel like asking out of genuine curiosity. Why have Zelos use Demon fang in the unison attacks? Shouldn't he have used something stronger?
Someone else mentioned that it stops knockback momentum so Genis and Raine both hit for Prism Stars. I can't verify this personally, as it's been years since I played this game, but it sounds plausible.
@@VideoMask93 Well the funny thing is attacks in a unison don't even need to land for it to count, it helps damage output if they do of course. But thanks for the input.
Even on normal mode Poison him to death at lv 60 Minimum even at lv 150 x10 exp NEVER fight him on Mania mode WITHOUT Poison damage so Colette is a must Genis still SUCKS. On this version All Divide's DO work but do NOT effect poison damage AT ALL.
seeing presea smile in talk-scenes always relieved me.
My favorite party fighting the strongest boss. Helllllll yeah
I dropped Lloyd as soon as Regal appeared. I cant stand teenagers wielding swords anymore; so fucking cliche.
Damn I was 10 years old when I was playing this game. So many memories 😢

Is this the original GCN version with better model used on Dolphin because it looks smooth as silk!

I won't even do that on NORMAL mode unless you still POISON Abyssion to death via 10x exp.
I noticed your distinct lack of Tempest. I tend to use it for escaping attacks like Explosion or Gravity Well
Guardian makes easier to keep aggroing the boss.
@@manikaditha6308 Oh, believe me, bosses don't lose aggro
@@darkbum1510 they do, fuker always try to hit my ally if they happened to be close to the boss. I still use it to move around tho.

Indignation killing Raine from 5k is some whack shit
I know like what the heck???
Mode Mania - Not much KO - Good Job bro 👍🏻
it’s been over 18 something years and I still can’t beat him. How amazing/inspiring. What level were they? Or what level do you have to be?
Being around level 80 is good enough provided you equip things that can lower damage from each of his elemental spells.
You gotta learn to dodge my guy. It's been a long time.but I beat him on my low level run because I could keep him in a combo
@@XWings001 Nah but i dodge like crazy and still keep dying. His strength is ridiculous

But why demon fang for zelos in unison? Even just a little more damage really helps with the crits in unison attacks
Stops the momentum of the knockback so raine and genis’ attack can hit
