Very pragmatic insights Jason - very appreciated. Volumes quite low this week on the S&P. Noticed some commentators also remark on the end of quarter rebalancing by fund managers --- making it quite an odd week.

Hi, rather than direct shares an option is a fund, either LIC or ETF. Just make sure the fund is domiciled in Australia otherwise you have to fill out paperwork which is what you do when you own a share for example AAPL (Apple). Any capital gains to the ATO. Please speak to your accountant or tax agent about what you intend to do how this will impact you.

I agree, double top on both nasdaq and s&p..... I'm not promoting a crash, but a correction is to be expected, both have rallied quite a bit, I do expect profit booking.....
