Speaking of gear. This video is based on a problem. While i'm working on my own portable induction cooktop here are some you can buy already and plug into your truck. This way you don't have to worry about bans anymore. They don't use heat. They use electromagnetic energy to charge the pan and make the pan hot to cook the food. You can actually place your hand on the cooktop while its working. Just make sure you don't have a wedding ring on or your finger or it will cook your finger off your hand. Works really fast too, within like a minute. These are not my products but hopefully if you get one they will help you make videos. thez6.com/reviews/best-portable-induction-cooktops/
Another great one man! Appreciate the way you encourage all to get out and enjoy the wild while also stewardly giving a little reminder to be respectful and kind to the land so it stays in good shape for the next visitor to enjoy👍👍
You have a cool life, I don't know who I'm more jealous of you, or my wife's niece and her husband in Hawaii on their adventures, savor every day of your youth, love your vids keep them coming.
LOVE the vids, LOVE how you don't say "errrr" and "ummmm" every five seconds, and especially LOVE how you say we can get out there without fancy / expensive gear - care to do a video on how a "normal" person might get out there and just go for it? "find some trails and get out here, have a good time" what to pack, where to go, what to look for, what to avoid etc etc etc SUBBED!
Love your videos. Here in Ontario, Canada, Starting to look for overnight locations. Think I may have found some, but need to investigate more. I have a Tacoma already, so it's merely a matter of outfitting it to my needs. Keep up with your videos. I've learned some good things from them.

You’re living the good life, my friend. I’ll be moving out west from the east coast in a few months and I absolutely cannot wait. Thanks for the videos!
I've been watching your vids the past several months, and this is one of your better ones...for some reason. I really appreciate the way you walk us around with you throughout the day. I'm not quite as old as dirt, but I enjoy learning. Also, thanks for the plug on keeping the trash in the bag and not leaving it on the trail. I read on a different site about different towns on the West coast that are passing laws to discourage people from overlanding, parking along a beach or other beautiful location because...they leave their trash and other crap on the ground. So, thanks. Looking forward to watching your outing with Mike from Field Craft Survival...the real deal. He can teach the rest...a lot.
Man all your videos are great, I really like the product reviews and the overlanding vids, I'm moving to Colorado in May and can't wait to hit the trails and start overlanding! Great job 👍
Your Weekenderlander vids really give me motivation to get off Long Island and OUT of NY, Where it's super crowded, houses on top of each other and there is no places to off-road or overland and move to another state that is more open with mountains and trails like MN, WI, UT, or CO - Thank you for this! I am even saving for my own Taco O/R as we speak as well! Thank you!
Well done bro. From the soundtrack to the funny Ashley clips this may be your best one yet. Cool to see how your vids have evolved since I started watching you way back in the day. Keep growing my man it's fun to watch.
It's always nice to get out and re-connect with what's real. Sometimes the filming can get in the way of being in the moment. I'm diggin' the camping videos, I like that you're getting back to that. Helps me stay focused when I'm at work lol
All your videos are great man. Very knowledgeable and you always have interesting topics. But I do like your weekenderlanding videos because I don’t have time to “Overland” and weekends are my only possibility for adventure time. Plus you review gear kinda at the same time and Colorado is beautiful. Keep doing what you do Mike
Another awesome video Mike!!! I find myself watching more and more of your videos! Especially your gear/EDC videos as well! I love gear and guns and knives. Your weekenderlander videos are giving me an itch to get out in the woods lol also need one of your holsters for a Springfield XDM compact 3.8” 9mm with a streamlight TLR-1 HL
I really appreciate your attitude and overall philosophy about getting outdoors & not needing all the gear & gadgets. Yeah, you're a gear guy but you don't push it on your audience. You're 100% correct....it's about getting out there and enjoying what's available with what you have. Now, does it get us thinking about getting additional gear to enhance the experience---OF COURSE! Anyway...just wanted to say thanks for your videos. Appreciate the work and effort it takes to get them done for us!
Thanks for another video. These are definitely my favorite videos too. I've taken the lifted Tundra off road a few tines but no Trips like this. Hard to find places to go unless you already know someone. All the palces I research end up being restricted
Looks like a good trip!! i just bought the new jackery explorer 500 power bank and love it!!! It will run my refrigerator for 48 hours until i need sun to recharge. it charges at 80 watts so it recharges very fast.
Mike, I appreciate all your videos bro. Seriously! I think a lot of us do. Even pants reviews LOL I'm still looking for my perfect pair of pants and you're going to help me get there. Keep up the good work man! I will say weekenderlanders are very exciting to watch! Not to mention Colorado has beautiful scenery
Cool video. Damn man you have so many neat gadgets and pieces of gear. I love seeing all that! Also love to see fellow dog lovers! Thanks for sharing. -Mark
Love your videos... been watching for a few years now. And I just purchased my first Vertx bag yesterday. The Gamut 2.0! After watching all your reviews.. and using the 25% off! Thank you for all the great content yo!
Watching your Weekenderlander videos gets me all jacked up to explore, but where I am in Pa there's hardly any public land that my truck can make it through. #SadPanda
Note : the more you fill your fridge with “cold” drinks before you turn it on the less power it will suck from your battery thingo.. so if you got extra room just throw cold or frozen water bottles ;) ( I fill with beer)
I have a Subaru Forester but watching these older videos and your newer ones have sold on going to Tacoma route this next spring. I wanna overland so badly on the weekends and even if I mod the forester, I will still be limited.
Keep makin ALL your videos!!! I have people watching for many different reasons. One fam member has a youtube subsctiption just because of you! Keep on brotha!!!!!!💪
Great video! Love everything you do. Keep the awesome videos coming. I do have one question, what was the town you were driving into at the start of the video?
Everytime I see one of your videos I realize I'm unknowingly building the same truck as you 😂 I got the same grill, cover, rims. And now I see you have the same step sliders I was eyeing! Geeez... I'm trying to be original damnit!
We like the gear reviews and prep vids as well!
The walk arounds were cool as well

Love all the videos mike. From the taco to guns. All good stuff. My credit card company thanks you for all the stuff I’ve bought. Stay well
Haha, thanks or watching!
Another great one man! Appreciate the way you encourage all to get out and enjoy the wild while also stewardly giving a little reminder to be respectful and kind to the land so it stays in good shape for the next visitor to enjoy👍👍
Thanks Sean - yeah I try to give a little light encouragement to help people be good stewards of the land.
Mike: "This is pretty....kind of."
Me: Laughs as i look out my window at the flat empty south Texas plains... :/
You have a cool life, I don't know who I'm more jealous of you, or my wife's niece and her husband in Hawaii on their adventures, savor every day of your youth, love your vids keep them coming.
The song mixed with the view of the sunset is just soulful made me get a smile and remember summer before everything went crazy
Glad it put a smile on your face!

Your arms are getting big Mike 💪🏼
Maybe a lifting video in the future?
Haha i get asked enough, so it's probably a topic I'll cover in some shape at some point.
Was gonna say the same thing!
beat me to it! hahaha

👍 Thanks for sharing the Video. Looks like a great camping area!
We need an 80 series Weekenderlander! Hopefully those new mods and work gets done quick!
Just keep doing what your doing. Love watching the family chill, gear reviews etc.
Love the 80’s soundtrack! I was waiting for Christian Slater to slide in on a skateboard a la Gleaming the Cube. LOL!
By the way, I used to watch your stuff a few years ago and it's been really cool to see your channel evolve. Super inspiring bro!
Appreciate it, man!
You’re living the good life, my friend. I’ll be moving out west from the east coast in a few months and I absolutely cannot wait.
Thanks for the videos!
Love your channel!! Please keep making the weekenderlander series. My fav vids on your channel by far. Keep up the great work!!🙌🏼

You’re just the man simple as that! Great content brother love the weekenderlander series💪🏻

Thanks for taking me along. I enjoyed the trip. Look us up if you’re ever out near Pasadena, Ca.
I dig that high-tech, low-tech cooking stove. Sweet!

Always doing well, love you keep asking. Be well Michael
You're so genuine Mike! It's awesome to see good-hearted people creating cool content.
Thanks for the kind words, Carl - and thanks for watching!
Gear, prep, and guns! This weekenderlander series is sick, though! Honestly, just all the videos you make are rad.
Thanks for another video. These are definitely my favorite videos too. I've taken the lifted Tundra off road a few tines but no Trips like this. Hard to find places to go unless you already know someone. All the palces I research end up being restricted

I have a Subaru Forester but watching these older videos and your newer ones have sold on going to Tacoma route this next spring. I wanna overland so badly on the weekends and even if I mod the forester, I will still be limited.

If you wanna live on the front range and adventure in Colorado, that traffic is what you have to look forward to! 😂

Отличное видео!!!Спасибо!
It’s 88 degrees and sunny here. This video makes me want to put my hoodie on.
@10:59 "I kind of want to do these tech items while they're still 'current'..." I don't think you did that on purpose but it was an appreciated pun.
Keep makin ALL your videos!!! I have people watching for many different reasons. One fam member has a youtube subsctiption just because of you! Keep on brotha!!!!!!💪
