During the air point allocation in the first attack on Bialystok, although Rough didn’t end up doing it, you guys had been discussing whether to use some of his air points as escorts. But see standard rule 6.2.2: “Combat Support missions cannot be escorted.” Escorts apply to Airmobile, Air Transport, Paradrop or Rebasing missions only.
Very helpful stuff. Question/ observation- reducing the unit for the non-allied player, at the 44:00 mark or so, in Valkaliskis is more than 3 hexes from an allied unit. Oversight or did I miss something (I do that sometimes)? Thanks!
Why did the US 1/82nd Airborne start in hex 4414? Setup says it starts in 4514, Bialystok… Pretty significant error since you could have placed that other Nato Airborne unit up north for more defense.
I just downloaded the NWP vassal module and it appears everything needed to be set up manual (if there's an option for auto-populating scenario setups, I can't find it, lol). @@RoughSwordsmanWargamer

Sounds right Jim, it's been a while so the rules are a little fuzzy!

Thanks for pointing out the oversight
@@RoughSwordsmanWargamer Wasn’t sure if Vassal auto populated it that way, or if it was just a manual setup error.
@@Krakhauer I'll ask Tony know as I'm not sure if it's an auto or manual set up. 👍

U take step losses from your Highest ER!!!!! U removing that Pol recon instead of that Para screwed your opponent!
More specifically, the first step loss must be from the lead unit, which is often going to be the one with the highest ER value. Do I have that right?
