Nepal to USA || International Student || My First Ever International Flight

A year ago, I embarked on my first journey from Nepal to the USA, excited to start my new chapter as a graduate student here in Oxford, Mississippi. But life had something unimaginable in store for me. In just 50 days after arriving, I faced the most heartbreaking loss of my life-I lost my dad, my pillar of strength, my biggest supporter.
Going through these old travel videos brought back so many emotions. I felt as if my dad was still at home, waiting for me to walk in and say, "Baba, I’m back for vacation." While I wish I could have hugged him tighter before leaving, I’m grateful that I captured these moments. Seeing his smile and receiving his blessings in this video makes me feel like he’s still with me.
