@ No doubt! I was just strolling around the tube on ND filters and came across your video. Saw one of the boys sporting the Khmer flag and I had to subscribe. Keep them videos coming brotha!
Thank you for the video. I have been shopping for a variable filter but didn't know what that "X" thing people was talking about. Your video does a great job demonstrating it
interesting stuff, I'm in the same place as you. I'd like to get ND filters, but do not want to carry around multiple single filters, and to be able to stow away the gimbal with filter on is a must. Following!
I've considered the Freewell VNDs, but I'm concerned there would be similar issues. I have the Polar Pro and DJI filters now... I've also looked at the Ulanzi filters, which allow the gimbal to go in the stored position when it's off, plus they also stack. Polar Pro told me they prototyped VNDs but gave it up.
I guess it’s too hard to avoid color shifts with VND this small. I got Freewell and Neewer packs on the way and the DJI 3 pack as well. Hopefully, at least one will not show color shift. 🤞
I didn’t get to watch part 2 but I ordered the Neewer 6 pack. Main reason was that you could leave the filter on when turning off. I’m in search of a good outside car mount for ‘Rollers’.
Hi, thanks for sharing this interesting video. I'd like to ask you a question. I recently got the Pocket 3 and today I received the FREEWELL ND8/PL filter. It's sad to say that the gimbal no longer folds. He is unable to make a normal turn to close, but the camera remains on its side and no longer protected. Why please? Thank you.
The P3 turns and detects the filter and stops with the lens, pointing the same direction as the screen. When you put the Pocket 3 back in its case the lens is pointing down and protected.

@@VichetSSom-ck8jd ayyyyyyyyeeeeeee. Thanks for the encouragement my dude! I’m out here on YT trying to Rep Cambodia.

Thanks!
I got these months ago and sent them back. Banding and color cast to the extreme!
I agree. Just filed to return today.
I was thinking of getting this one. Thank you for the informative video !
You’re welcome! I just ordered the DJI, Freewell, and Neewer filters. Let’s see which one will help us avoid color shifts the best.
Very helpful, thanks. Going with solid NDs.
Watch my part 2. I have examples to show with solid NDs.
@@mrheng562 Oh, that's great, I'll check it out. Thanks!

Right! I’m so bummed about the color shift. It would’ve been perfect for my needs, but I cannot deal with the inconsistency across the frame. 😩

@mrheng562 The DJI set is decent, and I like the Polar Pro filters. The Freewell VNDs are $70, and the Ulanzi filters are only $25...
Did you try the neewer vnd's? What was your experience with those?
@@Koensol yes. Watch my part 2.
@@mrheng562 Oh, I thought that was the normal nd filter :)
Should have taken your advice. Bought the K&F and it had the X thing, now returning it.
Yeah, I read the Amazon reviews and saw that comment. I went with dedicated filters. Watch my second video about this.

I’m getting my Freewell filter pack this weekend. I’ll let you know once I get it.
