I think I might be sold on this game based on the Total Control layout alone. I'll have to get used to it, but I don't have the skills for 'skill stick,' and 'hybrid' is mostly frustrating, because semi-pro is too easy and professional is too hard.
Well to be honest I’d rather that. Last years goalies were insanely difficult to score on when you were just shooting 1 on 1 with no traffic. The only way to score we’re breakaways and rebounds, they even stopped some insanely good one timers it was very unrealistic and frustrating. But I agree it should take more than 5 sec to fill the pressure gauge
What have they done to the NHL game I've loved and played for years? It's almost like they're making this a $70 f2p game with a battle pass, the colorful bubbles, and the 'accessable ' controls
Love that they are saying they want hitting to be a more viable defensive option, love the variety, hope you don't get penalties on every big hit though.
The main reason I don't like that they got rid of "too much" back skating with the puck in O-Zone is because that makes it more unrealistic honestly. I tend to skate backwards to back off of people jus tad, screen the goalie, etc. So I use it more realistically as oppose to spamming it to hog the puck as lots of gamers do. So it seems strange they'd remove it completely. Would be better if they made you lose control of the puck if you're doing something too unrealistic with that button.
They haven’t talked about franchise or be a pro yet right and to note that, anyone hear of any rumblings about those modes? Because game play seems way better

This looks awesome, I think I’ll love the new changes and pressure system. Can’t wait to try it out
@@methodz2850 how would you know, it’s not even out yet
Well to be honest I’d rather that. Last years goalies were insanely difficult to score on when you were just shooting 1 on 1 with no traffic. The only way to score we’re breakaways and rebounds, they even stopped some insanely good one timers it was very unrealistic and frustrating. But I agree it should take more than 5 sec to fill the pressure gauge
@@methodz2850 still not bad, I’m sure you’ll be able to adjust it but they definitely need to tone down the goalie difficulty
I wonder why line changing will be now in franchise mode
They haven’t talked about franchise or be a pro yet right and to note that, anyone hear of any rumblings about those modes? Because game play seems way better
i like the fact that L1 back to net has been nurfed. that was so unrealistic. this looks really good!! i hope they keep it this way.
not sure about that use too play hybrid for long time
