Guys, I've read comments criticizing my choice of things to bring. That's fine, you are entitled to your own opinion. But I think you're missing the point. I am not in any way suggesting to bring the EXACT things. If I say water, it can be ANYTHING that can carry water. If I showed my tire pump, it can be any source that can inflate your tires. If I say flashlight, it can be ANYTHING that can provide light aside from your phone. Don't get me wrong. I appreciate all of your suggestions of the "better" alternatives. Fee free to do so but please be reminded that people also have their own personal preferences. 😉 Cheers!
MoTour forget them idol... tuloy mo lang po ginagawa mo hehehe astig.. Power... 👌👌👌
Lodi yun lng
Sulit
MoTour sir JT ung aid drone nio po anung tatak....salamat po
MoTour tama lng yn sir
Sir JT next video po yung preparations naman before long rides like checking of tire pressure, oils etc.
Based on my solo riding experience, the # 1 item you should bring is cash. A lot of cash. The more the better. Kung may cash ka, kahit anong nalimutan mo ikarga, pwede mo bilhin along the way. Kahit na complete breakdown ng bike mo, kung may cash ka, pwede mo ikarga bike mo all the way back home or to the nearest tormots repair shop. HTH.
Salamat po. Ride safe and enjoy your adventure-rides.
I was also going to say the powerbank and some like that can jump your bike if the battery dies. I would also add to bring a toothbrush toothpaste, baby wipes, and extra clothes ; )
Good addition! 👍
Don't forget duct tape!
And also cable ties..
And your house
Alam ko di mo responsibility ang ibang motorcycle riders pero sana mag release ka ng video of how to ride safely, proper handling, timing, defensive driving, blind spot, when to overtake, etc... Yun kasi kulang sa marami, Seminar. This video might save lives. Thanks and Goodluck in the future.
Great idea. Might do it after the Ilocos adventour editing 😉
Extra spark plug, extra interior if your motorcycle is not tubeless, extra chain, pin removal kit, elec tape, reflectorize best,
What i have always with me is "rope" .. lubid... in case na kailangan ko magpahatak o hatakin.. Thanks Motour for your helpful video.. :) ride safe
Salute sayo Boss! Forget about people who does not know safety procedures. Go for it mas maraming riders na educated na di lng sarili nila iniintindi nila. SALUTE , MORE POWER!
This is a good investment kahit hindi ka mag lolong ride just incase talaga.
Solid Vlog.
With this vlog i can say i am all set for the things to bring on my long ride tomorrow to Mindoro, thanks sir JT
sir newly user ako ng scooter bike and planning to join to long rides...thanks sa safety tips for our awareness...more power sa motour
GOD loves you☝️👍👏🙏
Putting in sealant in your tires is never a bad decision. It saved me a lot of trouble for a dozen times already. Expiration is 1 year I believe, I am not sure though. Great video, JT! Sustenance for your own body is a must, water and snacks should always be there whether it is a short ride or a long one. Thumbs up!
Addition to that.. Extra sparkplug..
agree ako jan sir JT. yan talaga ang mga dapat dalhin especially on long rides. we see to it that we bring those things during our long rides. thanks sir JT marami kaming natututunan sa u.
Indeed! These things are very useful specially during long rides. More power and cheers to more rides motour pilipinas! Ride safe sir!
Suggestion on your pump battery.. Instead of taking them off all the time. Pwedeng lagyan mo nalang ng masking tape on one contact.. them put them in.
or maybe a piece of paper. para tanggal kabit pwede.
Jeff Espinas just a thin plastic layer in between makes sense. Thanks!
Nice. Very Informative and Helpful guide for Newbies. Thumbs Up! 👍🏻
> Medicine Kit, like gamot for LBM and headaches.
> and also Duct Tape. daming magagamitan ng duct tape.
Very useful and very informative. Thanks for this tip.
Yup invest na sa mahal at magandang quality for a better and safe short or long ride 😇😇
Hi and Hello!!! Mr. JT i'm very greetful N happy 2 watch ur video wat U col 81 province on a 2 wheel drive for 3yrs. i see and watch all the province that U visit with ur group from LUZON till to SOUTHERN LUZON and i was so enjoy to wàtch it in a you tube either from my celfone or lap tap, more over Sir JT i'm watching here in DAMMAM, SAUDI ÀRABIA, so until then sir jt thie is not the end to watch ur journey so pray for ur safety and ur group for ur long journey and call it 81 province by 2 wheel drive with in 2 years, so my Almighty God Bless You ur family and love one and also ur group to gjuide u for ur success, morè power 2 U
Very informative. Though wala pa ako balak mag long ride pero some of the items eh essential talaga long/shirt ride! Thanks paps!
Just bring water and 5 blunts or a little bong. I think blue dream or og kush24 for a long drive
Dagdag ng extra wires, electrical tape, fuse, led light at screws and bolts.. mahirap na masiraan ng ilaw sa daan lalo na kung solo long ride at gabi.. nangyari sakin pauwing bicol from manila.. buti nlng may dala ako 😂 dilim pa naman sa quezon
slamat sir.extra cp din po sna with load yung mga tipong sos phone po na may flashlight/powerbank/fm radio etc and swissknife/multitools.
Wow!! Grabe, complete information po kayo pag nag e explain. Good job po Sir
Cable tie, duck(duct?) Tape, Paracord, headlamp, tools, rain gears and wet wipes.
Yan dala ko lagi. Solo madas. From backpacker, hiker to motocamping.
Sir FYI lang po! you need to be a licensed radio operator from NTC to be able to use a hand held radio, kelangan nyo muna mag exam from NTC, once you are a licensed you also need to register your radio sa NTC, FYI NTC lang ang pedeng mag confiscate ng mga illegal radio, illegal radio means hindi kayo licensed to operate and hindi registered ang radio nyo. FYI madalang lang naman mag check point ang NTC of course it is always accompanied by the police. Added info lang sir thank you, because someday we wil be joining you in the future ni CIC, hehehe.
Thank you. Yup, I've read about it. 🙂
I can add ropes in your list... handy sya pang tali kung may di inaasahang dalhin or pang tali s motor mo kung ayaw na talagang umandar.. pde rin idagdag yung kandado pang secure ng mga gamit example helmets kong d madala.. or pang lock dn s motor..
Good video but I would like to add to take 1st aid training to be prepared for incidents and to properly know how to use your 1st aid kit. Likewise to get your NTC amateur radio license . If you are using VHF radio without a license is against the law and a policeman in a checkpoint can take advantage of that. My tips on the matter.
Thanks for the input. Agree on them
Ayos yan idol sir JT dapat kumpleto talaga tuwing maglalakbay na nkamotor.
MoTour Philippines
God bless
Thanks sir JT for guiding us at sa ibang pang mga motoristas sa mga kelangan dalhin for long rides 😊😊👍👍
facebook.com/MoTouristaShop
Salamat po 😊 btw po may free po bang motour sticker yun?
Nice tips however,
you can find way smaller USB rechargeable air compressors instead of that monster kick-pump to inflate your tyres! You can for instance search on Aliexpress and get them with reasonable price. Takes little space, no hassle and very portable device.
As for torch, you you are better off with a light source that you wear on your head because you will then have both your hands free to do the work you need to do on your bike.
When it come to powerbank I find it useful to have a powerbank and a jump startkit combined in-one, again to save space and yet have dual purpose when you need to jump start a "dead battery".
Those portable electric inflators are unreliable. I tried it before and it's very faulty. A friend even blew up a fuse using it. You're better off with something that does not rely on electricity. That's why mechanical ones are always better, especially that I have enough storage for it.
I was suggesting a flashlight in general and not this particular one. The one I had was a rechargeable one but it got busted recently. Yup, the strap on is a better choice. 🙂
I use a USB recharchageable portable inflator which has a built in battery and is self contained meaning there is no need to be concerned about blowing any fuse because it can be charged from the power outlet off the wall or a any power bank. I find it reliable, vert portable and no hassle. :)
Anyway, I just love anything that would make me use less muscle effort when I make any repairs :)
Those are really essentials and must have if one is planning for a long ride, thanks for sharing Sir, ride safe always.
Di pa ako nakakapag "long" ride pero I always bring may powerbank, raincoat, at since may power outlet yung adv ko bumili ako ng adapter.
good stuff sir, very informative and very helpful!
You covered the whole 9 yards on the dot! You're a squared away man. I'm hoping to go riding with you someday brother! Thanks for your upbeat blog. Keep it coming! JOJO
Thank you! 🙂
Cool and very informative vid Thanks!
tama un bgo nyo pagandahin ang motor mo or lagyan ng kung ano anong accessories o r modefication ng motor, eh bumili k mun ng mga protective gears..dagdag pampapogi din yun.suporta s srili mo.kya tama yun sir helmet mun dpt..ung branded like Ls2.
Awesome and thanks for sharing your experience and information.
Always check the chain of your motor during long ride and tire
Very informative talaga as always Sir JT. Sana makasama kami sa MMGR and quickie ride and probably long ride.
I suggested to bring extra interior sa motor bro JT, bka d kya sa patsi ang tire nyu sa subrang laki ng hiwa..na experience ko n yan marikina to palayan Nueva Ecija.. God bless bro..
Yes, extra interior for those who are not using tubeless tires.
Last week break in ko motor ko, las piñas to pagudpud power bank lng dala 😂 wala pa kc ako mga tools, buti di ako nasiraan.

Duct tape pa bro JT ,very useful din un.

Thank you for this!
Chest S. 👍
Mag baon ng pasensya!. HEHE GOD BLESS YOUR TRIP!.🙏

i bring along with me, disposable surgical gloves, very useful, i use it before putting on my motorcycle gloves, specially when it's raining,it keeps the hands dry and will not get stiff. and yes, wet ones tissue, very important. thank you.
tonichi Uy This is true. One of us actually used it and it it works well when raining. Thanks!
i ride shadow vt1100. since i dont have a kick starter. i should probably bring kick starter powerbank. if those works.

Can you do a review of which brand of helmet is much better between the two brands, ls2 or sena helmet. And which of the two has a greater feature that can be useful. Thank you, sir! 😊👍🏻👌🏻✌🏻🙏🏻
Good day sir, ano po gamit nyo pang cover sa cp nyo kapag umuulan while driving? and need mag gamit ng gps.
its funny to see this vid after my long solo ride...
you are correct, dapat sana nakita ko to bago ako nag attempt...
malaking tulong sana...
almost didn't make it. not once but twice...
Please share your story. Might be helpful to other riders. 🙂
Nasiraan pa ng makina along the way.
here my advice if I'm allowed, kasi nakapag long ride na,
from davao region to NCR, solo.
At babalik pa ng Davao in May siguro..
be prepared
*physically
*mentally
*financialy
*spiritually
unahin ko nalang pagmention yung mga maling ginawa ko for the preparation:
*wala akong flashlight "I was never going to ride at night anyway"
*wala akong tire repair kit "brandnew at ilang araw pa lang yung gulong ko"
*wala akong dalang water container "Bumibili lang ako ng mineral water along the way"
*wala akong first aid kit "no excuse"
*wala akong dalang tire pump "pwede akong maka run flat for 55km, tested narin"
*breaking my personal rules during traveling, bending siguro yung other term.
*naglong ride ako with friends sa Parola Davao Oriental.
*bumili ako ng rain coat design for riding motorcycle
*bumili ako ng padding, riding gears, gloves
*bumili ako ng drybag 40L "a very wise desition also" dun naka lagay fullsize laptop ko.
what happen during my travel.
ang daan sa Samar, medyo mabilis siya magpatakbo, but im trying to catch up, naka pag banking
to make up loss of time, nagaverage na ako ng 100kph, then nasira yung tensioner ko sa bayan
nagkasakit.almost gave up in pagsanjan, pero parang nagpush parin ako, kasi 100km nalang
ang destination ko, and the last leg is the most challenging part kasi...
Monday traffic, first time na dadaan sa EDSA, or any major highway sa manila na nakamotor.
As in first time in Manila riding a motorcycle....
yan lang muna...
Sniper150black.(bisaya)
Maraming slaamat boss . New subscriber here. 1st time ko kaseng nagkamotor kaya medyo kapa pa ako . More vedios boss para sa safety slaamat
thankyou for this tips soon makabyahe ng malayo
Thank you Sir JT.
Kuya JT..hope i can go with some of your rides...
wow..very helpful tips bro (:
Nice video, we take motorcycle trips through the Philippines and i love your channel!
Out of the topic question sir ano pong model ng ls2 helmet nyo po? Cant help it ganda kc.
Great addition! Thanks
Paps, san mo nabili LS2 White Helmet mo??
Boss yung tire repair kit po ba na ganyan is for tubeless tires only? Thank you. 3:57
Ano yung pinaglagyan niyo and saan nakabibili?
the most important of all mga pare,condoms... best protection yan...lalo na pag nasa ibang lugar ka. dba...
btw, suggestion lang din sir... pwede siguro din add natin dyan stash of money (yung tipong mga nakatago sa singit singit ng motor - i also have one in my car) ... kahit hindi big amount just enough din for you to survive in case you lose your wallet... based on experience lang especially when going solo rides 😊...
Good suggestion!
