I am retired from the U S Navy this year and can honestly state i have done 90% of this video in my career. Thanks for a great tribute to the BEST DAMN NAVY IN THE WORLD!!!
As a US Navy veteran, I found this video extremely cool. I served on an aircraft carrier and a battleship, back in the 1980's. Way to go, man. Thanks for thinking about us.
As a man that served in the United States Navy as a SeaBee and in the fleet, I would like to thank you for that tribute, and Fair Winds and Following Seas to your Son!
Thanks to all former and current servicemen and women. Thank you for protecting our way of life. Wish we didn't need war but when it comes down to it you all are willing to put your life on the line for people you don't know. Hats off to all branches.
My family is full of veterans...my grandfather (Army-infantry) missed WWI by 3 months, my father (Navy-minesweeper duty) missed WWII by THREE days, my brother (Navy-USS Enterprise, CVAN-65) missed Vietnam by 1 year and I (Army 82nd Airborne) missed a whole bunch of little piddly stuff (Grenada, Panama, etc) while watching news reports from an Army hospital bed. Hopefully your son will have the good fortune that my family has had. Patriotism means putting yourself on the line for our country.
I have two sons getting ready to serve in our United States Navy and I just have to say not only do I love this song but I LOVE the video that goes with it !!!! Congrats on to you and your family I know how very PROUD you must be!!! Fair Winds and Following Seas !!! GO NAVY!!!
Amazing video, one of the best out here. I love how you included EVERY part of the Navy. My dream lies within the United States Navy, and with god as my witness, I'll do whatever it takes to get there. Also, the best of luck to your son, I'm glad he chose the path of the most elite group of fighters on the planet. Hooyah!
I am currently serving and absolutely love the video. Thank you for your support and thanks. believe it or not, we don't hear it enough. You're welcome!
I reported to San Diego Recruit Training Command (boot camp) 13 Aug 1984. In many ways it seems like it was just yesterday. If I had it to do all over...I'd go Navy again. NO REGRETS! ;-) All you kids looking at going Navy, stay true to yourself and give your best everyday and you will kick ass in the Navy.
This is an awesome tribute! I'm looking to be an officer after my four years in college. Can't wait to serve in the world's greatest group of warriors. GO NAVY!
That's rite! The US NAVY as well as the US ARMED FORCES AS A WHOLE is the world's police! Thankya so much fer serving! God bless! I salute ya! I served myself in the US NAVY!
Awesome video. My son is currently serving in the Navy as did my grandfather, father, brother and myself. Nice to see it honored for all it does. Air, Land and Sea, the US Navy does it all.
You a so welcome! After all the help that we do try to offer, it seems we never hear a "thankyou"! Though this's not the reason we do offer help or at least try, we do it, I think outtuh love fer our fellow countrys. But it is nice to hear a "thankyou" or at least know that someone out there appreciates us in some way or nuther. God bless!
Thankya so much fer posten this here video! Yessir, the US NAVY is an awesome group of warriors! I to served from 88-92, stationed in NAS North Island, San Diego. I was in the Air-anti submarine aircraft squadren 33, "The VS-33 SCREWBIRDS as a jet engine mech. My aircraft carriers were the USS NIMITZ & USS CONTILATION. My Uncle Fuzz retired with 22 yrs of active service. My younger brother went into the Navy 8 months after I did with 4yrs of service! Thank yer son fer his "future service for me.
@TheHtown123 well you have a fan here that is supportive!! I'm a Navy Brat!!! My dad served 22 years!!! Thank YOU for serving Our Country and Our God!!!!
The U.S navy is the most technically advanced navy to ever sail the sea, Gerald R ford aircraft carrier will have electronic magnetic rail launchers for its aircraft and will have two brand new nuclear A1B Reactors, a AN/SPY-3 Radar system(most advanced radar so far) and will have the ability to launch stealth aircraft and the X-47B(which no one can so far). She(and ten of her sisters) will be the most powerful Killing machine to ever sail the seas. no ship ever rivals her tech.
BRAVO ZULU on your video thank you for your support and WELCOME ABOARD to your son, we are the GREATEST NAVY IN THE WORLD!! US NAVY ALWAYS AND FOREVER!!! (even those who get out or retire are ALWAYS remembered)
hey onefriend1997 62 was on the side of the USS New Jersey.. She was decommissioned in November 11 1999 (Veterans Day) You can visit the ship at its permanent location in Camden N.J. They restored her in 2001 , She looks great.
would have liked to see more of the LCAC's than just a split second but overall I liked it. There's nothing more breathtaking that watching a ship pull in from a long-assed deployment with her crew manning the rails in full dress, especially the whites (yes, I know the sailors hate them becuase they are hard to keep clean, but they're just so snazzy!) ~From the wife of a retired sailor and sister to a current MA3
To the orgiional creator of the video. Motivate! As an Active Duty Sailor in a critical field, awesome bro! love the video. Very motivating, wish I could show my students. Keep it up! Everyone else, god bless the United States Navy.

@TheHtown123 You sound just like my little brother! It has been the best thing for him, he is only 18 and has already been to Africa! He just got on his ship last week and it is by far the best move he could of made in his life. Good luck to you and I hope you join!
Even though my carrier my be 500 miles off the coast. We WILL rain on your parade 500 miles inland and you will never see it coming. .......GO NAVY!.....
Besides our men and women in the Armed Forces, this tribute should also go out to all the Veterans and DoD civilians that make it possble for our people to go over seas to ward off terrorism and to help other countries that are in need.
