YAY! Agree! Pollinators love it. Also, thank you for checking out my channel. You were the one who first introduced me to native plants and food forests. So it means a lot to me that you checked out one of my videos. Best wishes to you, Rachel and the family.
So I have a beautiful lantana that's super full. I keep reading that I have to propagate from a non-flowering stem, but all of my stems have flowers that I can tell. Do I just clip off the flowers or I can't use those stems?
Is it possible to plant the cuttings directly in the ground near where the main lantana plant is located or does it have to go in a separate container first and then be transplanted? 😅
I read a lot (articles, research summary, facebook gardening groups, books, etc.) and go looking for any videos I can find on topics. Talk to neighbors who have gardened for decades. And then test and verify as much as I can. Especially since some sources of information aren't for Florida/sub-tropical environments and may be working with different conditions.
@@WildFloridian so true!!! It is so frustrating, that’s why I liked your videos, FINALLY someone talks about my area. I love So Florida but it seems so limited but it is not so! 🙏 Thanks!
made me smile and not just when the chain broke at 5:18 🤣😂🤪🥰
One of my favorite plants. The aroma of the crushed leaves is wonderful. Also a great insect-attracting plant for food forest systems.

@@WildFloridian YAY! Thank you so much! I'm getting ready to try it out in my garden! Wish me luck! ♥ Jenny
What type of sunlight did you keep them here in florida? Until they rooted
I kept them in semi-shade
@@WildFloridian thank you
Great video!! I have a woody stem variety of lantana do you think this method will work for them also?
You should try the branches that haven't turned woody yet. It may work.
Have you done any type of cooking with your banana leaves?
How many days to root and how many cuttings will root
I started getting new growth in about a week.
Hello madam. Can I buy lantana seeds from you?
No, I do not sell any seeds. Best wishes!
How do you know so much about plants?
