I bought a mohair cinch is it true they pull hair on the horse?
Only if you let them start getting dirty. Otherwise the only hair they collect is hair the horse sheds and that will matt in there and can get felted in and pretty comfy for the horse if it stays clean. You gotta make sure your cinch stays clean and you brush your horse's chest, belly, and sides were the cinch touches very well so it doesn't get any sores or galls from dirt and such. It shouldn't pull any hair then, only what they shed. In my experience, mohair and horsehair cause the least problems and have the most benefits. Hope this helps!

Hello! You can, just be prepared for it to be very loud and possibly beat up the inside of your washer.
Hello... I make 100% mohair cinches, and if you put them in the washing machine, the fibers will very likely felt. Probably won't affect the function, but it won't look the same. I always advise users to wash using a bucket only and don't agitate.@@BigBendSaddlery
