All of the slabbed cards I personally own that you see in these videos are in my Fanatics Collect Vault in Tigard, Oregon. I choose to store these cards in my vault to lower costs, insure them, protect them and eliminate the concern of damage resulting from fire, flood, humidity, theft or Cajun Alligator attacks down here in Louisiana. I do not hold any of my Graded Cards in my personal possession or in my home.

Bryan
That MJ auto was blue ink. It was probably exposed to a lot of light over the years. Many cards from the 90s blue ink fades. I have Manning autos that you would think was signed today. All my cards sit in a dark area and see less than 2 minutes of light in a year. I am sure you remember old cardshops who had thos big old glass cases, had cards sitting raw no sleeve in them by a window.
I was the one who picked up that PSA 10 Vince Carter Essential Credentials Rookie….I totally agree, the price was a lot lower then I expected. I think I got a deal 😊
It’s crazy because I got a big dirk rookie that I feel is incredibly under price imo
@@BigDirtDawg Nice! Which rookie card?
You crushed that one. I think most would have paid more had they known about it. Now I just have to get you to start using the affiliate buyers link in my UA-cam description DJ!!!! 😂
Yep Cajun man you’re correct that MJ 2003 Exquisite Limited logos BGS 8 has a bad faded autograph that originally was deep blue years ago, but now it’s faded light black, because it was poorly stored and most likely was exposed to a lot of light for a long time which caused the auto to badly fade over time!
Autographed items should Never be displayed in lots of light or sunshine for long periods of time, otherwise this is the bad outcome that eventually happens!
Faded autos also greatly lowers the item’s value! If this same MJ card had a deep blue 10 auto then it would have sold for double the price or even more, because when high end buyers are spending Huge money on autographed sports items they want the best quality!
You selling some big dog MJs means the Cajun is possibly entering the MJ autograph world!? Whatever journey is next I’m here to enjoy the content
Hahaha. Not quite. I’m just moving money from these 31 Jordan cards to different Jordan cards. Autographs are on the radar quite yet. Too much work to do on the hierarchy checklist.
Exquisite money???
🤔🤔🤔😳
Good luck on the 86 PSA 10!
🙏
The mj auto was super faded
Yep - even I would love for the 101 to level off right now price wise for a slower natural progression. However - in my Burbank episode today when I post it I can confirm a $83k sale of a 8.5 BGS 101. Dave was there when the buyer came by and I confirmed with the seller. Most cash but partial trade. I agree - the 86 Fleer and Star 101 are so condition sensitive it makes the charts for each not as meaningful at all. A 7 by either grading company can have big quality differences is the same grade for both cards.
I know it seems like I’m always picking on star 101 but any card that goes up this much in a short period of time that is not hinged on player performance is going to come crashing back at some point, it’s just a matter of where it comes back to. I’ll be observing intently from the sideline.
@@cajuncardboard I hear ya...history is not kind on price spikes like this and must be met with a skeptics eye. While I agree on the fundamentals of the card and long term value...I think people should realize fomo very much in play here.
I got my 1984 Star Jordan 101 BGS 8.0 in 2012 for $1700. We're never going to see prices like that no matter what.
Autos are so underared especially 90s!... Nothing against the rare PMGs, rubies, credentials etc...But back then breaking a pack and getting a MJ auto was way more desirable than an insert.
I got my 1984 Star Jordan 101 BGS 8.0 in 2012 for $1700. We're never going to see prices like that no matter what. A BGS 7.0 just sold on eBay for $29,300.
Agree totally but that bgs 7 will be worth less in 6 months. Just my opinion.
@@cajuncardboard Just a couple of months ago a BGS 8.0 sold for $21,000. The price trends of the past decade plus are not on your side.
Kobe being in the Top 10 is by no means an insult 😂 that's a damn accomplishment considering all the greats. Considering that he's only one of two SGs in that list is crazy.
I know but most Kobe fans aren’t ok with top 6-8 opinions. As you know.
Yes those 2 Curry National Treasures are the same card. They're both 13/25. I know years ago I saw a list that someone put together with pictures of the 99 regular ones that they had seen in auctions and sales and sure enough the patches on a few of them looked very different over the years.
Don’t worry about the Kobe ranking. Most of us have lebron top 15 all time as well. 😂
😂😂😂😂
Awesome recap as always Bryan, keep up the great work 👍
Thanks! Will do!
Johnny Moore???
Poor Johnny is running downhill just as fast as he ran uphill in 2021. 😢
Star hater…
Hahaha. Just tired of the hype train at the moment. It’ll all work itself out in the next 12-18 months.
So kobe is #6 or #8 in your list . And a BGS 8.5=PSA 6 cancel your channel kid go get some help..
Yep. He’s 6-8 on most lists and you don’t collect real cards apparently if you don’t understand the psa bgs equivalency on PMGs.
