- This month, Sheriff Cole-Tindall is here to talk about the Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) Unit.
In 1999, the King County Sheriff's Office entered into a partnership to provide a unique combination of services to the King County International Airport.
They respond to aircraft emergencies, hazardous spills, and structure fires.
Our ARFF Unit deputies serve as part of the safety network which keeps aviation one of the safest modes of travel today.
