Who is the singer you got for the part at 2:17?? Her voice is incredible.
This is the type of title screen music that keeps you from starting the game because you need to listen to the full song.

Yeah when I got this NES game in the 80s I would totally leave it on the title screen for a good while before playing it because that theme was amazing.
Nothing beats this. I am dead serious. I heard this and FUCKING CRIED. Metroid was the first game I EVER BEAT as a child back in the 90's and this was like reliving that all over again. I felt like I was watching a movie of Samus fighting a version of Ridley that somehow ascended to becoming a demonic fallen angel of death. Words do not do this justice. Not at all.
This feels like something that should play at the beginning of a movie with the credits and title cards

Around the 2 minute mark when the moment hit,:chills, waves and waves of chills going all over my body, I can still feel some of them on my arms
100%, this is when it really hits, which is crazy for a moment where the dynamics are so quiet.
When I hear this, I see Samus walking slowly down a hall... methodically laying waste to EVERYTHING, like the unstoppable killing machine she really is.
That would be the Sa-x
@Metroid70that IS Samus. SA-X just showed how terrifying she could be for everyone else.
@@Kenshiro3rd the Sa-x was created through Samus encountering an x parasite infected her basically being a mimic of Samus in her power suit at full power and it was introduced in Metroid fusion

Normally i don't really like Metroid Symphony arrangements, but this is a great mix of electronic and symphony. Goes really hard! Love it!
