I'm also so happy that this time is said that Magnus talked to Alec about Izzy's health, and then he gave him "special candy" 😭. My boy learned from what happened in the last season with Izzy's condition and how it was a topic of major importance for Alec. We love communication skills even off-camera! And I have to admit that even if we always say that we want an Alec (those gorgeous eyes make me weak) for us, in reality we would be so lucky if we even get a Simon. He's truly incredible and the best man one could ask for. I'm so with you cheering for Sizzy to happen!!!

Oml the congratulations to Esther and Shelby at the begining was so funny haha, and totally understandable. Here are the facts for this episode: 1. Heidi attacked the wolf with a silver weapon, and I realized that the show never explicitly states what eah downworlder's weakness is, so here is a list! Warlocks: Rowan Vampires: Sunlight, fire, holy items/words (there are some exeptions. Like a vampire who was Christian before being turned, would not be affected by the Star of David, and vampires can train themsleves to not be affected by wholy items. For example, Raphael taught himself to hold a cross without burning), a wooden stake Werewolves: Pure silver, seraph/angelic blades Faeries: Iron, Rowan, Salt, Grave Dirt, Holy Water, knowing a fey's real name 2. Bat mentions he has a job at night that he can't skip- he's actually a DJ! In the books he plays for several clubs, and post TMI events, even played at the Hotel Dumort during vampire parties 3. In the books, Heidi, WAS crazy, but not like in the show. She was a little kid, so she acted like it. She wore a bone tiara, a dress, and called herself queen Maureen (her name in the books), like she was a little kid playing pretend. She also had no intrest in the werewolves. She was more intrested in becoming head of the vampire clan (she killed Camille), and then letting vampires go rampage around the city. 4. When Maia became an Alpha in the book, it was never planned. Luke went up to Alicante for a meeting, and his second in command (Bat) was put in charge. Russell challenged Bat, and during the fight, Bat almost died. Maia stepped in trying to protect Bat, and she won against Russell. 5. Maia and Simon's break up in the book was much much different haha. Simon was actually dating two people at once. Maia, and someone else I'm not naming. He was never "officially dating either of them," and about a month in they both broke up with him over him dating two people. Both girls, Maia and the other one, didn't really stay angry at him for long. Mostly because they agreed that in both cases, they have never really communicated properly about whether or not they were dating. Not Simon, or Cassandra Clare's best moment, but it was a one book-plot (fortunately). And eventually, Simon ended up officially dating the other girl, after they both properly communicated about what they wanted. Mind you in the books, Simon was a confused 17 year old, so it's not like he was an adult with much sense. 6. Jordan never considered leaving the preator in the books. He stayed to protect Simon, even after the mark was removed. Mostly because of the issue with Maureen/Heidi 7. Maryse never got together with Luke, since Jocelyn never died, but I think they were super cute in the show!
1. Everyone deserves a Simon. 2. Alec and Izzy were amazing together. 3. Maryse telling her 2 children who are both in love with downworlders to stay away from the people secretly torturing downworlders is hilarious. 😂

Alec is Literally the best 🖤 “whoever gets the opportunity to do it, should do it” you will love to see how her storyline ends 😂 don’t fret on the lack of Malec, it’s coming…. And you won’t be okay 🫠 No clary is frustrating most episodes but she’s just wishy washy about a lot of things, she makes a Grand speech about something then if her plan fails it just like oh well. The whole Luke and maryse storyline is strictly a show thing but i actually like it lol they are really showing a more Softer side of maryse now that she doesn’t have to follow clave orders and live as a Shadowhunter but I will say that she is Damn lucky that Alec is her son and is in a position of power to keep her in the loop and kinda protected because for anyone else who is de-runed, they are supposed to be completely cut off from the Shadowhunter society, completely exiled and are banned from entering the institute/Idris/Alicante and are basically left to there own devices, that’s why it was such a big plot point in season 1 when Izzy was on trial and faced possible de-runement. Maryse is really very lucky because Alec would never let that happen to her anyway I digress lol your gonna be in distress over the next couple of episodes and I’m sorry but all will end well…at least for some 🫣😬

I believe the switch in Clary's perspective came when they tried to remove the tatoo and couldn't, she realized that it is going to take time and research to figure out how it's removed. And untill they figure it out she needs to just move forward with her life with Jace.
