Give it 5 or 10 years and you'll be wanting to do this hike all over again. ;D I've yet to do this trail and would do it no less than 7 nights. Good Times ! Keep up your great videos!
Kudos to you and your mom doing this. Just watched all 3 videos. Too bad weather was not nicer and the unfortunate feet issues. I have paddled Killarney and gone to Lumsden lake and love the place.
I love those views around the water. Very beautiful. That view at the crack was awesome!! It’s always a tough hike when your feet are hurting so bad. I hope for a quick recovery for you. Cool video 👍
I really liked these videos. Well done! That is a very difficult trail. Like, very. I enjoyed re-hiking it through your eyes. (Did it Aug 2018) If you hate hiking, I hope the beauty compensated for your sore feet a wee bit. Me, bring afraid of heights, I dislike scrambling on wet slippery rock, but the rest was amazing.
Thanks! Yes the sore feet were worth some of the views I think haha. The slippery rocks were not fun at all and very nerve wracking. Thanks for watching!
Haha I say that about Algonquin! It always rains when I go there. I could probably count on my hands how many rain days I’ve had in Killarney, never rains for us haha (except in this vid 🙃)
I’ve had the hiking boots and hiked in them for a couple years with no problems. Not sure what it was, I think I’m going to try trail runners next time as they are more breathable and less constricting. And the wet feet probably didn’t help lol. Although, the water in my boots created a water bed for my feet and they weren’t hurting as much 😂
Wonderful videos. Very helpful for planning my next hike. Lots of details and tips. Well done and thank you.

Haha yeah I'll probably do it again. I'd like to do it in 4 or 5 days next time I think. Thanks!
That lake is beautiful!

Thanks for watching! Haha yeah gotta figure out some different shoes for next time. Lumsden is super pretty!

Thanks! It was a fun time for sure despite the blisters.
I’m glad you and your sister had a fun trip lol. I have used pantyhose to help with blister sounds weird but whatever works
Interesting! Ya I’ll have to experiment with some different things and see what works best. Haha my mom appreciated the kind words 😉😂
Great series! Killarney is fricken goreeeeegous!!

@@WildCanoes haha funny how that happens
Did hou wear new shoes to do that trip? Or did you get the blisters because your feet were wet?

I need to hike that trail.
Thinking about doing this trek w/ some friends next summer. If you had the choice, would you do 4 days or 5 days?
Definitely 5, doable in 4 but there are so many vistas and beautiful things to see that it’s better to take your time. At least in my opinion :)
@@WildCanoes Thanks for the response!
Wait, wait, you're saying i can use vet tape on myself lol? nice
Haha I did! It kept all the blisters cushioned without sticking to them
