Thee Freshest best new sound in ages. Awesome riffs and funky rock tune. Been wanting to learn this from first hearing and this is an Inspired way to learn it. Dude's I THANK YOU for the great new sound. almost 70's Phil Lynott but with a contemporary twist.
Anyone know what happend to the guitarist and the drummer in this lineup?? I just saw them a few weeks ago, and they weren't playing with them. The drummer sitting in was a little weak, it was sort of a bummer.
What show did you see homes? Sorry you were bummed! The band has had 3 different drummers in the last 12 months. They're all monster players though! It does take a minute for anybody to find their feet in a new job. Since the last record we have been constantly changing personnel for various reasons. We are still working hard on it for ya though man. We have to keep the music going however we can and our hope is that all the changes are for the best in the long run. Trust me, nobody wants us to have a better show each time we hit the stage than we do! Take Care- hope to see you again. Thanks for listening to the band.
I was at the show at Great Scott in Boston. Love the band either way, I've seen you several times, all in Massachusetts, including the short set at Solid Sound 2013, in North Adams! Greatest show I've seen was in Northampton at the Iron Horse! I still think about it to this day, 2 years later!! I'm in CT, come to CT for crying out loud!! Some great venues in the New Haven region.
The iron horse show on Corsicana Lemonade was fun. I remember that show well. We all bought tie dyes at a head shop around the corner before the gig. Northampton is a cool little town. Our current drummer was in NRBQ for some years. Great band from your area I believe...Could be wrong. Anyway, Thanks for keeping up with us. It has all felt pretty transitional since our original drummer split but like I said in the first message, we are working on it constantly. I think I have gotten significantly better from working with all three of the dudes that have played drums with us last year. It is a pretty funny career path that we chose in our early twenties. I knew once I got a shot to get out and play for people that I was going to hang on as long as possible. We still believe in what we are doing and feel obligated and very fortunate to continue our work. It has been damn fun and in many ways I dare say it has even improved! We will try to make it to New Haven. We have been hearing about toads and the pizza scene for ages. Say hey when we are through. I love getting a middling review from a listener when I'm fresh off the stage;)!! Take it easy and thanks again✌🏼
James Petralli I'm a big fan though I came to you guys late after Corsicana Lemonade. I quickly caught up and have been eating it up. I actually got obsessed (danger word) with the music which hasn't happened to me since my 20's. Then I realized in retrospect that a band I was playing in called Trophy Wife opened up for you in 2008 at the Casbah in San Diego. I don't remember it much to be honest except seeing you go crazy on stage. I appreciated reading your post about the personnel changes. I'll be a lifelong fan so keep it going. Hope to see you out in the DC area.
One of my favorite bands. I listen to them often daily. They make my brain happy.

Yeah Toads is decent...there's a great place next town over in Hamden called The Spaceland ballroom..prolly about the size of Iron Horse.
