Thank you for posting this video. I have this design as well as other "puzzle" type designs. I'm not intimidated after watching it. I loved the speed of the video too. Sew much fun to watch.
Newbie here. I was not aware that something like this could be made in a hoop! There’s a whole new world out there for me! Great video! Inspiring and educational. Thanks!
I had fun watching :) Love the fast-forward stitching !! Would it be possible to make a video on digitizing something like this, or in-the-hoop bags etc ?? Something with multi-steps ?
Love your channel. May I ask where you are getting the pattern for the pumpkin and is it from the same place as all of your work? I have a new Stellaire. Thank you, Bonnie
The one in the video is only one size- 6x10 BUT there is another design for smaller hoops: www.kreativekiwiembroidery.co.nz/product/pumpkin-placemat.html
I have seen these with burlap added to the back, would you add it to the back when you add the cutaway or would you wait till the project is finished and then cut the burlap to size and attach it?
I would add it when you put on the cut away as it is done in sections. If you waited you would have to cut the shape and glue it because you would be stitching over you front finished design hope that makes sense.
I am not sure if it would work very well - the hard part being the leaf on the side - you would have to change bobbin colors for each step so that the back would look right. I guess if you are careful enough, you may be able to get it done.
Can you make a full sized placemat in the hoop? YES you can with this wonderful Kreative Kiwi Pumpkin placement - finished completely in the hoop!
Wow Kreative Kiwi has opened the door for in the hoop. Who would have imagined being able to do a project 3 times bigger than my hoop.
What a terrific idea to keep the designs in a notebook!!!

Hi! so fun and pretty! Thanks for this video
Thank You really enjoyed watching that, also opens up the possibilities of what can be done with "smaller" sized hoops, with the right approach!
yes, the possibilities are endless!
Loving it
Looks great. I’ve done other kreative kiwi designs that pieced together perfectly too.

EXCELLENT!
So cute!
it's my new favorite design from Kreative Kiwi!
I love the optical illusion because you speeded up the Video :D (Kind of childish, I know, but I am easily amused ;) )
me too!! I like how I look like Super Human Cutter Woman when I am trimming so fast! :)
Watch the needle of McDreamy, how it seems ti hardly move at times, especially when doing the satin stitches :D
Me too it makes it look so cool
Thank you for a great video.
😀

yes, i will add that to the list. Great idea!
Love your video so much info for a newbie do you have a video on the orange peel block?
Sue, great video. Could you also float a backing fabric with the cutaway?
yes, you could tape down some fabric instead of the cutaway if you wanted to. Either would look good.
thank you so much. perfect.
😀
Love this tutorial, what is the size of finished pumpkin, please?
What scissors are you using?
Love your channel. May I ask where you are getting the pattern for the pumpkin and is it from the same place as all of your work? I have a new Stellaire.
Thank you,
Bonnie
Sue what size did you use. I love it. I seen someone do one and put it on her front door.

Tammy J so there is a pumpkin placemat for every size!
❤️
💕
I have seen these with burlap added to the back, would you add it to the back when you add the cutaway or would you wait till the project is finished and then cut the burlap to size and attach it?
I would add it when you put on the cut away as it is done in sections. If you waited you would have to cut the shape and glue it because you would be stitching over you front finished design hope that makes sense.
Would this work if I used matching fabric on the bottom instead of cutaway stabilizer?
I am not sure if it would work very well - the hard part being the leaf on the side - you would have to change bobbin colors for each step so that the back would look right. I guess if you are careful enough, you may be able to get it done.
Can you do this on an Babylock Ellissimo?
kay lucas does it have a 6x10 hoop? If not then are smaller pumpkin placemats from kreative kiwi to make!
OML Embroidery It has up to a 8 x 12! Thank you!
