- The interview continues with Priscilla Shirer (author of "I Surrender All" and actress in "War Room" and "The Forge" movies) and Lekesha talking about life as they approach 50 years old. As the mother of three young men, Priscilla shared parenting tips for establishing essential values in her sons. Now that she is a parent, the faithfulness of her mother and father (Tony and Lois Evens) is appreciated more. Being and "boy mom" has it's challenges but she enjoyes being the only female in her home (even the dogs are males).
One of the most important topics Priscilla spoke to was her role in influencing the school curriculum and friends in the aftermath of 2020 racial injustice rise. She found a powerful way to impact others as the mother of African American boys. In another subject she also gave great advice on how to deal with social media trolls.
Before the end of the video special encouragement Lois Evans shared was helpful. Priscilla's looking forward to a soft life with margin and leisure to stop and smell the roses. This is a podcast interview guaranteed to inspire viewers to enjoy life and make the most of the gift of life. Lekesha emphasized the value of rest and pursuing an intensified life.
