    Another classic Ivatt Crewe built steam engine amongst thousands of other classic engines churned out out by this famous loco works but sadly just a shadow of it's former glory. Crewe works made the town, there was hardly anything here other than a flour mill & plenty of clay for bricks. Still we have former RR motor works churning out prestige Bentley motor cars even if it's owned by VW! Thanks guys great vlog!

    Thanks Bob great scenery and trains. What is it about cars drivers and motorhomes they have to get in front of you no matter what. Same happens here and then they slow down its so frustrating.

    We’ve found this really interesting because we’ve just booked to go to Meathorp Fell in August, must admit I’m with Jenny the last bit did look a bit narrow xx

      Yes, you do need to take it easy there, not arriving too early as well.

    Meathop Fell for one day, this is such a nice area to explore, train ride and steam engines is definitely a whole day visit ! Why not relax and explore the lakes before the school holidays ? Scotland again, this is a timetable the American way, not for us. Retirement is a time to visit, relax and go with the flow ? Why all the rush ?

      We'll relax when we get to New England Bay, 4 days there!

    Bob, had great time in scotland on East cost, thanks for info. Your towing with A frame, does it put mileage on the car ?

    • @jennyearnshaw7892
      @jennyearnshaw7892 6 років тому

      Pat Costello Thanks for question, No the mileage doesn’t go on the car. Have a look at our A frame videos

    I love those train rides !! Mr Earnshaw I am just a bit curious about the license to drive your camper, I saw your previous video about the weigh, since yours is heavier than 3500 KGS can you drive it with a B license ? Thank you

    • @BobEarnshawMoHo
      @BobEarnshawMoHo  6 років тому +1

      Sarinf Serg Thanks I have a C1 licence allows me to drive up to 7500kg, you can't drive my van on a B licence.

      Bob Earnshaw thank you for the information, Lori and I love your camper a lot, I suppose a 6 m van is going to be fine for us when the time comes.

    Hi Bob with your camper being over 3500kg can it still be mot'ed as a car or hgv mot

    • @BobEarnshawMoHo
      @BobEarnshawMoHo  6 років тому

      matt2001 I don't know to be honest, I paid the fifty odd pounds and they MOT'd it. As I understand it all Motorhomes are classified as Class IV whatever their weight.
